Makkah Defence Alliance: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

If you don't have cashflow from oil you don't have wealth, you have a potential fire sale of your assets, for a country like Saudi
That's an exaggeration of epic proportion... houthis control of Bab Al Mandeb is a temporary glitch , it won't damage Saudi interests in the long run.... Saudis won't go broke because of it.....same with the Hormuz.

Here is the thing, muslim population is now over 2 billion and todays Muslim have modernized and majority of them who can afford the pilgrimage are no longer used to walking 10s of miles in scorching sun nor used to living in tents without AC and other amenities. The todays architecture in Mecca is designed to cater for todays Muslim lifestyle and population size has increased. If the population was few million thrn no need for tall buildings.

Hmm...
You're telling me what?
If you didn't get it... say so... what you've posted is a non sequitur.

So, let me break it to you... the modern Muslim!
Makkah per our faith was a desolate, barren land... devoid of life!
When Ibrahim(A.S.) was commanded to leave his wife and child ON NOTHING BUT FAITH AND TURN.
That child bawled for water... the mother, ran back and forth in wilderness. Water sprouted for that life in that barren desolate hot valley...
That city doesn’t exist because it was on a waterfront... because it was a lush pasture teaming with life. It exists for one purpose and one purpose alone because THE ALMIGHTY WILLED IT!
And millions take that journey of hardship peering into the void of life... some finding a deeper meaning... others repentance... and some as ultimate worship.
Since then humanity has been through much... that deeper meaning still exists... but people took their world to Makkah instead of bringing some from there back home.

So, to answer you... the modern Muslim suffers the exhaustion of imitation in futility... apping those who lost their ways prior to the renewal.
And this will continue till we need another reset!

Saudis will go broke because of pie in the sky mega projects for which they were buggered by western consultants and now realize they cannot realize even 10% of them even if they dump all their wealth in there.

The issue isnt that the kingdom doesnt have fallback wealth or that it cannot afford things - it is that it put blind trust in western consultants - while many not really in the mood to change and do work until MBS came in to start some change.

They realized how much they were lied too on project scale and budgets by their contracts on everything from NEOM to the LINE and others - that they are taking serious austerity measures now and hypercharging their Saudization.

The infrastructure is rock solid in many places but with achillees heels everywhere.
This goes also for their defensive postures - they will be given solutions by everyone including well qualified Saudis but unless the get a nod of approval from the white boy(as in "We agree, its a good idea you have") - they wont move an inch to even secure their behind.

Agreed 💯 ... Saudis are nurturing too many white elephants.

Did Iran condemn Indian attack on Pakistan that killed many innocent children? Its sad what happened to Iranian school children but IRGC never supports Pakistan.
Do you expect these wahabi who think they own Islam to not condemn those attacks?? Not even from holy mosque a single word utter

U r telling me that an oil rich country is broke in a week of recent developments?
Be a realist like ur namesake. KSA has enough money to not only bank roll this...but it holds enough clout/credit worthiness that even without money TODAY it can acquire several air defense systems from China on credit alone.

But then again..there's no need of that. Blowing up a pipeline/shutting it off for a week doesn't make a country go broke. A country that does nothing about it and lets losses mount...WILL eventually go broke.

That's an exaggeration of epic proportion... houthis control of Bab Al Mandeb is a temporary glitch , it won't damage Saudi interests in the long run.... Saudis won't go broke because of it.....same with the Hormuz

Depends on the repair time and whether it happens again, I agree with you both otherwise, but if it keeps happening that's a problem because perceptions of credit strength can change, and in the extrema Iran can retain the houthis option against saudi, against the pact

So what is ur suggestion? Do nothing?

yep, the more iranians and their sectarian factions attack the arabs, the more they push them towards isreal. That much is obvious. I pointed this out in the past. This war has been exceptional business for isreal, who sits pretty and doesn't suffer any retributions.

Its a losing position for iran because it further entrenches nations regionally against them. Its also a loss for the arabs because it forces them to drink from a poisoned well.

From the isreali perspective, this is all good news. Exceptional news.

Yeah but all these years the Saudis proved unable to uproot the Houthis. So inept actually the Houthis even expanded!

I could write here, what saudis are, then, I could very well be banned!

so, i can only say, Saudis want betterment of Muslims (at least, they tell that and do great deeds as well), we PAk. should be thankful

but

the problem starts, when they think, everyone should obey saudi order (which are not Suadi orders or Saudi interests!) and if any one questions it they become rogue and terR***ts!

Keeps the revolution going

Right now what's good for isreal is to keep the mullah regime alive, while its constantly chipped away by american sanctions and attacks. This will have many positive effects for isreal.

1: Iran is completely ruined and exhausted while maintained in a state that cannot alleviate her position. Why have a new shah revolution if it allows the country to free herself of her economic shackles, when they can have an Iran isolated and relentlessly attacked by US airpower.

2: All the arabs facing a further destabilised and aggressive iran will be pushed further and further into the laps of isreal and america. Until these nations are completely subservient and under the foot of zionism, it wouldn't make sense for the americans to "defeat" iran.

3: Work to destroy the idea that any alternative Muslim alliance can fill the void of American protection in region. You can already see the Iranian sectarian side mocking the mecca agreement, without realising they needed it to succeed far more then Turkiye or Pakistan, because its the only to way really pull "ALL" Muslim states away from American power and influence eventually.

Honestly i could on and on.

But you don't find your nation being destroyed with a tiny economy and a massively under educated population by being wise. That happens when you constantly do stupid shit but then celebrate that stupid shit as a success.

And on a side note when you look at pisa results and the general education level within Muslim civilisation its near dog shit level in most of these countries. Absolute disaster.

no the way I see (and pro. the world see it!)

I see the whole affair as any detached observer might: the world’s richest nation and two great powers on one side, and a rather motley gang in flip-flops on the other, with unseen hands holding the leverage. The real question, then, is simple: who conceived this pact, and whose hand is truly at the helm?
