This is intresting because when Brig General Allahdadi (IRGC in charge of Syria operations under Solemani) was killed alongside several Iranian officers and Hezbollah including Son of Mughniyeh, Iranian didn’t do anything. Hezbollah did fire two ATGM at an Israeli border patrol unit later.

Only for Solemani did Iran overtly retaliate in a major manner.

It seems even Iran knows it has to do something this time around that it didn’t do in the past for similar attacks.

Zahedi was in the central circle with Nasrallah Soleimani Kazemi ... Allahdadi was not

plus the big difference is that this attack happened on Iranian territory

Nuclear weapons for Iran are useless. If Iran today declared it has nuclear warheads, Iran should go and sell off all its precision ballistic missiles because it could never use them without the assumption that Iran was launching a nuclear strike! Nuclear weapons are not a deterrent for Iran same way they have not been a deterrent against Ukraine for the Russians. People here are very simple minded, they think if Iran had the bomb, no one would mess with Iran. If that was the case, Iran would already have been a nuclear armed state!

This is why I believe in expulsion of Afghans. Especially those who are undocumented - also despite all the poison in the media etc Pakistan and Iran need to work closely on security, because this is the time our mutual enemies will exploit the situation.

I don't blame the Afghans, the fault is ours for not controlling our borders properly (also it seems most Jaish terrorists are from Pakistan and most ISIS-K are from Tajikistan)

a few years ago I remember iranians used to think our border areas are so secure and free of terrorists and the problem is just on the Pakistani side. I don't think they are so arrogant any more

it is indeed time to work very closely with Pakistan to cleanse Balochistan on both sides of the border from hostile elements
