Imran Khan 3 years in solitary confinement

The fact that Sunil Gavaskar is calling for Khan's release while simultaneously declaring all Pakistani taxpayers (including of course Mr Khan) to be directly responsible for the deaths of Indians tells you everything you need to know about Hindustanis and their faux outrage.

I don't doubt the appeals from many non-Indian sportsmen as coming from a place of true humanitarian concern.

But the Gavaskars and the @GatlingGunZ of this world just cannot be patient and professional enough to hide their true motives.

The Indians are masters of flip flops.

It's not just Gavaskar..
Go ahead call these 7 Aussie WC winner captains also Saajishi Hendu Baniyah..

Imrandu the watch thief just need to apologise for 9th May terrorism by KPK pashtun chutiyass against army installations. Till then he will remain in jail till his death.

Now PTI is trying to bring more pashtun terrorists for 27th September march in Islamabad. This mean they have learned nothing and want to take over Islamabad with terrorists, what their cousins Taliban couldn't do. They think they will be allowed to go ahead. Only 8 days left, I bet they will not cross Swabi let alone Attock pull.

Did you read my post?

I don't doubt the genuine intentions of Aussies, Englishmen, and others who say with an open mouth that they care about Pakistani cricket, including its past greats.

Now tell me again out of the side your mouth that a single Indian, you and Gavaskar included, care about the wellbeing of Pakistan's ex-cricketers. I have quoted Gavaskar's words on the matter of Pakistani taxpayers and why he feels ALL Pakistani taxpayers (including Khan himself) are "guilty" of criminality against India.

No in my opinion there is no duality in SG's statement.
He could be believer of that ties with Pakistan and economic/sports tourism shouldn't be normalised under current military hybrid regime, because who will benefit it's your "establishment" ,and for that he can support release of Imran Khan as a step towards political normalcy.

Do not pretend you can second guess Sunil Gavaskar, who has not specified a specific criticism of the "establishment" of Pakistan during his criticism of the Leeds Sunrisers signing of Abrar Ahmed . On the contrary, he has criticised the killing of Indian citizens at the hands of Pakistan, stating that blame is shared by all Pakistani taxpayers, irrespective of government type, since 2008.

Gavaskar:

"The furore created by the acquisition of a Pakistani player by the Indian owner of a franchise in The Hundred is hardly surprising,

"Ever since the Mumbai attacks in November 2008, Indian franchise owners have simply ignored Pakistani players for the IPL.

"Although belated, the realisation that the fees that they pay to a Pakistani player, who then pays income tax to his government which buys arms and weapons, indirectly contributes to the deaths of Indian soldiers and civilians is making Indian entities refrain from even considering having Pakistani artistes and sportspersons.

"Whether it is an Indian entity or an overseas subsidiary of the entity that is making the payment, if the owner is Indian then he or she is contributing to the Indian casualties. It's as simple as that.

"There's still time to undo the wrong and hopefully wiser counsels will prevail,"

Imran Khan has himself been in the seat of Pakistani power after being elected democratically to that position for a total of FOUR YEARS in the time period between the Mumbai attacks and today (which is the time period referred to by Gavaskar).

Now sit there with a straight face and tell me once again that Sunil Gavaskar is concerned for Imran Khan's welfare or is even worried about the question of fair judicial process or of Pakistan's governance model.

His ONLY problem is Pakistan. He, like you, will use Khan as a tool to harm Pakistan.
