What I said isn’t just my personal take, majority of Pakhtoons in the Pakistani army feel the same way. honestly, after reading you respose, it really does come off as contradictory. Pakistan names its missiles after legendary Afghan rulers, yet somehow there’s hostility toward everyday Afghans. That’s a pretty strange mix.
In my opinion, a more thoughtful response would have been to acknowledge that regions up to Kabul share deep historical ties with Pakistan, and that if any Afghan province ever chose to join Pakistan willingly, we would welcome them.
