What happened with Mohammad Rizwan
NCCIA investigation: Pakistan's National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency is investigating Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq in connection with allegations involving online betting/gambling and possible dressing-room information leaks. This remains an investigation; no final finding that Rizwan committed betting or corruption has been established.
Phone seizure: Rizwan says his phone was taken after the Lord's Test by a government-agency official and was not returned within the promised timeframe.
Lahore High Court: Rizwan challenged the NCCIA notice/jurisdiction, but the Lahore High Court did not intervene and directed him to respond to the agency's notice.
ICC angle: Rizwan subsequently approached the ICC Anti-Corruption Unit, asking whether the PCB followed the appropriate anti-corruption procedure and whether the ICC ACU should have been involved.

I don’t believe he is guilty. I think Naqvi may have diverted attention from the core issues during the England tour.
1. The Imran Khan issue: As the situation was receiving increasing international attention, they may have shifted the focus in another direction by scrutinising their own players.
2. The team’s poor performance: It also diverted attention from Pakistan’s disappointing performance during the tour.
Unfortunately, Rizwan and a few other players may have simply become the scapegoats in the process.

Death of Cricket doesn't automatically mean the birth of so called better sports lol.
Pakistan has infrastructure for one sport and they are hell bent to destroy it as well.

One gentleman (who is considered very balanced and very educated gentleman!) was assuring Americans that the cost of this adventure was so insignificant that it might amount to little more than petty cash.
OTOH, Americans were saying that the daily cost already appears so substantial that their ordinary cash flow scarcely seems sufficient to sustain it, and, that they now fear the expense may rise at an alarming pace.
It seems to me that our people are so thoroughly incapable of...

I mean, the individuals that win gold medals in sports that Pakistan doesn't even facilitate reveals everything. Cricket takes up all the money and yet cricket produces nothing.
There is a reason why only a limited amount of nations play this game versus others sports that are wildly popular all over the globe.
British imperial history, complex rules among others are reason enough for the world to avoid cricket. Cricket might be the second most-watched sport globally by audience size (driven heavily by South Asia), its top tier competitive footprint is concentrated in only about 12 full member nations.
The more chaos and disruption there is for anything cricket related in Pakistan, the happier I am.

it is a deep, i have a very limited amount of time, but all i can say is..
cricket or any sports, it is the slave mind set, that has reduced to this in any sports

Well which sports Pakistan is better than?
Asian Games are started, just followed a few recent matches, only Pakistan len won hockey match against Thailand (ranking 42), rest nothing -- on going table tennis - they have already lost in the morning against Iran 3-0, and now losing against Indonesia - down with 2-0.... I don't see any hope in badminton, tennis, boxing, or any sports.
What do you want - Pakistan as sportless country)?

Pakistan should focus on football, boxing and field hockey. We don't need lecturing from Hindutva on what sports Pakistan should be playing. That is something for Pakistanis to decide.

Rowing and other disciplinesIndia does not only play cricket. Just look at the records in the Commonwealth Games, Asian Games, and Olympics. I said Pakistan does not come close to most other sports at the world stage. I hope you know the current rankings. In football, the last time I checked, Pakistan was among the lowest-ranked teams in the world—around the bottom 20.
So keep one you sport, promote parallel to all others, killing one only sport is not a solution
