This tactic of terrorists ambushing soldiers in open-top pickups and Hilux's goes back 25 years. That is how little the leadership in the country cares about the common soldier and policeman. What do you think such leadership cares about the common man ?
The response when finally launched by leadership will be heavy handed military ops which will cause massive destruction to civilian homes and neighborhoods and turn the people into IDP's.
And then these same clown Grade 22 leadership will ask why support for the army/govt has gone to zero in KP/Baluchistan.

On 20 September 2026, fire exchange took place between the Security Forces convoy and Khwarij in Hangu District. Resultantly, eight Khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij were sent to hell due to effective engagement by own troops.
However, during the intense fire exchange, two brave officers including Captain Abuzar Farooq (Age: 23 years, resident of District Gujranwala) and Lieutenant Sheraz Babar (Age: 22 years, resident of District Chakwal), who were leading their troops from the front, fought gallantly and paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat along with their four men.
Sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored Kharji found in the area, as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country. These sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs.

Local complicity is the only reason the terrorism exists in Baluchistan/KPK, Sindh/Punjab has corruption but there isn't much apetite for Terrorism and violence, if you think about it that when was the last time you heard a positive news coming from KPK besides just some military operation, large scale suicide bombing attacks, or cross border attacks by Afghando's, with Afghan Taliban now ruling the Afghanistan, TTP has a steady supply of recruits for their operations, PA can kill as many as they can but Afghan/Tribal women will just spread their legs and reproduce more, the majority of TTP fighters we are killing today were toddlers back in early 2000's, and the toddlers of today will be coming to hit innocent people in 2040's or 2050's, its a cycle that Pakistan has to live with because you can't just kill every Pushtoon, and Pushtoon will not change their ways, forget about accountability, so it will be a constant cycle that continue.

Pakistan has got to stop pulling its punches because it believes pashtuns and tribals will be upset
They need to carry out heavy operations and stop careing about the complicit locals
