Our neighbours are itself a joke. Their data collection problems are result of data not being available and too political. That's why many of them believe undokumented ekonomy is in trillions. I always say the standard is different for GDDS and SDDS countries and it shows.

EVs are growing pretty damn fast in India now. Still less than 10% of total PV sales, so obviously ICE is nowhere close to disappearing. Tata and M&M dominating isn't surprising at all. But damn VinFast surprised me Their original Tamil Nadu plan was already up to $2 billion, they've got Phase 2 moving, the factory can eventually go from 50k to 150k cars a year and now they're working on India specific EVs.
