Anyone know why it's taking so long to fix the runway in Pakistan? Really just curious and want to understand how things work on a military perspective. Or possibility of a tampered satellite image?

Looked at google maps, and it shows repaired?


Obviously it will look as a patched repair unless you recarpet all of the runway.
The RRR (Rapid Runway Repair) teams repair and bring it online within 4 hrs. This is just yindoos being silly

They can still "rescue" the Su30MKI by ripping out the entire radar, avionics suite, EW/ECM suite and replacing it all with pure Indian only system for each of those components.

As I said before, Türkiye can "park" the system in Pakistan(or another country, maybe Azerbaijan?), while it works out who to sell it to and get the sanctions unblocked ?

I have been saying this in the past.

SU-30 avails was 55% during the good times, 20% now is no surprise

1) Combination of aging airframes, engines etc with no upgrades or airframe reconditioning
2) So many subsystems from so many different suppliers
3) Russia now in much more difficult position to support it


This should come as no shock to anyone.

It is the lack of actual decision making and execution that is sooo shocking to me. They actually have the tools to fix it, but they choose to not do so.

The fact is it is incompetence of IAF leadership that is to be blamed at the top for all these failures. All those airmarshals of IAF (past and present) are to be blamed for 200 IAF pilots dying at the hand of Mig 21, for Tejas project failure, for failure of planning to procure fifth generation aircraft, for getting owned by PAF both in 2019 and 2025 and now for this situation of SU30 mki

They had the budget. They had the resources. And still they failed. It is all IAF leadership failure. No wonder these clowns are only good at making fake kill claims and now getting positions in highly controvertial temple's administration board

Unsure, but I suspect on paper combining all these things may have looked good, but instead of the best of both worlds they got Frankenstiens Monster.

Bad servicability, avionics that cannot work together, missiles that cannot match AIM120, let alone PL-15, no data links to the rest of the force.
