Why Indians so obssessed with China? The level of jealousy due to the higher living standards, much longer lifespan and clean streets without pollution and rubbish makes indian jealousy meter go right up to boiling point.

Yes its been a long time now. Almost from the year 2009 till now. Iran's assets were frozen.
Its not news at all.
Chinese banks like other banks around the world are dependent on SWIFT and other western payment platforms.
Add that to US role and the US pressure.
Moreover China is not Iran's brother in arms to sacrifice its own benefits for Iran.
So no hard feelings. We have to just move on and hope for BRICS platform that will be possibly launched in the future.

I personally like Iran very much. Iran is an ancient civilization with a long history and remarkable resilience.
The United States is in decline, and I believe Iran's situation will continue to improve.
