Seems to be rear heavy (dual engines) and slightly unstable considering its length

PR stunt, that 'jugaad' paper boat will sink in the rough sea stern first. I hope navy is doing better than this. It needs anti ship missiles , faster and longer ranged, anything less and we are all screwed.....

I remember asking the same question, and was told, that the hulls are not empty, they are filled with expanding foam, this way it doesn't sink.
Not sure if this was implemented or abandoned.

Navy needs an Air force like transformation, complete overhaul of doctrine and tactics. It is woefully under equipped in comparison of Indians and might just be in the thick of action next time. It needs to transform into a hungry attack shark, equipment and doctrine wise,that does not let the enemy settle.
