We don't aim to replicate China's manufacturing capacity overnight. Building manufacturing scale and supply chains is a gradual process that takes years to materialise, it won't happen in 10 years. It happens slowly from sector to sector. Say electronics production went from $30 billion to $130 billion (still growing at 15%). You increase manufacturing, sign FTAs that help increase the production capturing more orders due to reduced tariffs, increase domestic production. Give us time we will get there.

More importantly, economic output isn't agressive manufacturing output it's the aggregate value added across both goods and services. You concentrate on sectors that are not growing at faster pace and extrapolate to the entire economy then discuss to death about why Indian growth is fake saar.

Yeah and we will keep trying until we crack into top three. We are already in top ten, ranked 6 in MVA.
As for AI and production whatever you mean by production, we are already making chips, frontier models, conducting research if India is what you call "missed" then God help the rest of the countries in the world including yours who use features developed by Indian origin scientists to make pictures and videos lol! All the while thinking India a country with around 20% global chip makers and GCCs popping up like mushrooms are going to be left out. Sure buddy, anything that keeps you from losing it.

India is one of few countries where they still get to pick their leader. Instead of constant regime changes by USA.

India fake media already beat China. Everytime a short lifespan india reads 7% growth rate they beat China. What they dont know is that their rupee depreciated to toilet paper currency and Inflation and interest repayments are destroying the economy which is why UK and Japan overtook india last year. That's not to even mention how AI is deleting the global back office role. Chinas ability to create a super advanced open source AI will soon put tens of millions of indian IT and call centre workers out of work.
