Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Pakistan - Afghanistan War)

In the escalation ladder, we will eventually bomb the talib headquarters and take out the head of snake. But our elites are afraid if the afghandoos carry our suicide attacks in mainland Punjab, so it will always be a controlled escalation since that's what we are really scared of.

I know folks won't like this fact here but it is absolutely true. The establishment wants to keep the big brother safe so this circus will continue until we get a next cdf who might have a different policy

The policy appears to be to hit TTP targets in return for suicide attacks/raids, hit border check posts in return for border incursions and hit major military infrastructure in return for higher escalation like state sponsored drone attacks.....🤔🧐

Slow and steady wins the race....

The Afgan problem needs time to solve. An immediate collapse of the Taliban may create more problems. Slowly eroding their power can enable a gradual buildup of the resistance within Afganistan. According to a Pak defense analyst, the Taliban regime may not last through 2027...

Pakistan is on the offensive against the talibs and India.

Can anyone of the honourable member of this esteemed forum enlightened me that now since almost everything we have tried but nothing seems to be working than why can't we active our sleeper cells across the board? After all we all know who is behind all this.

Afghanistan is a fragmented hellhole, no one entity has ever governed it fully, it is always different groups acting on different areas, even Talibs need a different faction of theirs on ground, they don't control everything from Kabul. Even if some districts fall it won't be a complete wipe off of Talibs, then they will become the warring party instead of the government. We must ensure our interests are secured, and make the Talibs behave, by repeatedly spanking them when needed.

Now - what is likely to happen?

Pakistan is doing the same divide and rule
Why? Because it knows(rightly) that the Taliban(read Afghan) in their governance model which is basically masculine jerking off is unsustainable and WILL COLLAPSE into rifts - they want to help it along.

What is happening with KP on back and forth accusations of each side saying "you failed" is a province more alienated from the center until it becomes permanent - and it seems very much that if we disregard the ethnofacists in PML(N) - the establishment at least are also blind to it in their usual "We are right" attitude.

FATA is actually at the same state or worse than Zarb e Azb - and now even more difficult to clear BECAUSE where previously it was the mixed ANA - US aspect which was part sanctuary part traded cleanup - the TTA FULLY SUPPORT THE TTP with ZERO qualms.

But this may not be immediate and the bigger problem is Pakistan actually had leverage through Karachi as Afghanistan's "port". Now that both sides are focused on bypassing each other - this logn standing leverage ALONG WITH ALL IN PAKISTAN that profited from it are rusting and creating economic issues. This is decades worth of infra - livelihoods that will eventually be supplanted but never revived again.
No. What has happened with KPK is the crackdown on PTI, which was so extensive and so vicious that there is no prospect of reconciliation. As KPK is the power center of PTI and the ther parties don;t exist there anymore, IK managed to bring both nats supporters (who were liberals who didn;t like maulvisO) and JUI-F types (people who hated Nats).Everything you say has been done.

Thats what caused all this. You have imprisoned, beaten, and sent into hiding the people who could have put forth your position, and didn. And for what?

As for Afghanistan port? Good luck to them bypassing. Lines n map are easy to draw, but as you Americans found out when you tried to set up the NDN in the Afghan war, on the ground is very different.

Afghanistan can only meaningfully bypass Pakistan via Iran. We must enforce a blockade on that route as well, interdict trade on the roads, making sure nothing reached Kabul from there, also close the air bridge.....

Unlike Pakistan, India did not waste its hard earned money on imports. They shut themselves off when they first had to go to the IMF and did things the hard way. They did not base their economy on being a mercenary state within a state.

Now they have millions of dollars to spare for activities. Such as sending 'humanitarian aid' as in things that go boom, to Afghanistan. As much as they can fill in their C-17s.

Once the Taliban figure out how to cheaply mass produce one way attack drones (they have already started using them) they will be able to impart huge costs on Pakistan and force it to fight on two fronts. Same formula as Houthis.

There is nothing Pakistan can really do about this. In the beginning I expect them to brush off the increased losses as being orchestrated by PTI/Imran Khan but then it'll be too much to ignore.

Even if Pakistan is able to intercept everything that comes in, it will still be enough to kill businesses and investor confidence in that entire region.

Nuking afghandustan will solve the problem once and for all.

The situation is much worse than the ansarallah. We have a huge porous border with shared ethnic roots. They don't even need to fire these rudimentary drones, these suicide attacks are getting the job done for them. Unlike Saudis who have deep pockets and American backing, we are in dire straits.

The day the first airstrike happened, I know it was mostly performative and symbolic and we will not go all the way or rather can't go. Don't be surprised if after a few months, we start some sort of dialogue with afghandoos.

Suicide attacks don't have a wow factor like a drone or two making it all the way to Pindi or even Islamabad. Blowing up 20-30 pashtuns in waziristan doesn't really do much because it's the baseline.

At some point the Afghans will figure it out. We just bombed them again with our fighter jets and it's left a bad taste in their mouth I'm sure. In the old days, nothing to be concerned about cause it's not like they could hit you back.

But world has changed and the one-way attack drone is now something that all these non state actors can easily get their hands on. Electronics are cheap, boards are cheap, flimsy 2 stroke motors are cheap. I don't see why Afghanistan couldn't start pumping out thousands of these hidden away in some cave that our jets can't fully bomb out.

That's called genocide buddy. We all going to hell for that.

Not really, we are just protecting our national survival. Are afghandu terrorists scumbags not going to hell for killing 10s of 1000s of innocent Pakistani civilians? Nuking and wiping out afghandustan the land of prostitutes is the most appropriate payback in this situation.

To be very honest we had no choice in that regard..

Ashraf Ghani's govt was not only hostile but also very incompetent.

Supporting TTA was us clutching at straws.

At the end of the day we aren't responsible for the routing of the Afghan National Army in less than a week of the US leaving.

That is totally upon them.

Agreed about ANA. But there was genuine hope and confidence in Taliban. Something our top brass should have predicted better. If people like me on PDF had figured this out back in 2012 when I saw a video of Sirajuddin Haqqani praying with Hakimullah Mehsud, Idk how majority of us chose to stay blind.
