An unprecedented boom in Egypt's potato exports...

In 2019, for the first time, Egypt began producing potato seeds locally through the National Company for Protected Agriculture (remember the number of people who spent their lives on greenhouse projects!)
The important thing is that Egypt has become one of the largest exporters of potatoes in the world with more than 1 million tons in 2023..
It has a large percentage of self-sufficiency in potato seeds, which helps farmers easily grow potato crops in the summer.

The Arab Bridge Company succeeded in transporting 14,000 trucks from the port of Aqaba (Jordan) to the Egyptian port of Nuweiba, and then by land to the Egyptian ports on the Mediterranean Sea, during the first two months of the current year, which enhances intra-trade between Arab countries as the link between the eastern and western Arab world.

The Ministry of Public Business Sector, through the Holding Company for Cotton, Spinning and Weaving, succeeded in restarting the old factories of the Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in Mahalla, which had been suspended for years at the beginning of the development project, which costs about 33 billion pounds.

The result was the operation of the old Mahalla factories, including factories from the year 1968, which were completely stopped .. to fill the deficit, especially since the factories were built with complete European technology and were fit to compete with international quality. Therefore, with operation, the Mahalla succeeded in producing knitting yarns that compete with imported ones.

Three main lines are currently being implemented, with a total length of about 2,000 kilometers. They will represent a huge qualitative shift in transportation in Egypt and will cover all parts of the Republic. In addition to being development arteries serving new and existing urban and industrial areas, they will contribute to reducing and shortening travel time between governorates by more than half the time. What's happening in Egypt now is truly unfathomable. No, really, most people are not capable of grasping the magnitude of the cumulitive development of the industries to benefit every single facet of economic growth in the country.

To put a numerical value on it wouldn't be doing it justice because people throw crazy figures out all the time. For example, if you added the rough value of all the investments and project expenditure (without taking into account any value for their respective revenue), we're probably somewhere between $500 - $800 Trillion.

A better and more meaningful way to describe it is what's happening in Egypt now is like the European, Russian and American industrial revolutions all put together.

Their prediction of the underwater pipeline/cable network making the Suez Canal revenues look like child's play is just a tiny indication of the extent of financial benefit that will be seeping in from all these investments and projects.

Through a plan to develop the Harmattan field in the Mediterranean Sea, north of the Delta, and after the completion of the preliminary engineering studies for the project, the Pharaonic Petroleum Company begins drilling 3 new wells in the field through an offshore platform to produce 150 million cubic feet of gas and 3,300 barrels of condensate per day.





The company also plans to prepare to drill exploratory wells for the deep layers in the Atoll field during the coming period, immediately after completing the analysis of the recent data collected using the latest technologies in the project to collect and process 3D seismic data.

The German company "Bosch" and the Korean "Samsung" followed the Chinese "Haier" and the Turkish "Beko" companies and obtained the golden license to establish their factories in Egypt.



The new Bosch factory is being implemented in 10th of Ramadan City under the golden license system, on an area of 160,000 square meters, with investments exceeding 50 million euros, and will provide about 500 new job opportunities.

The factory is scheduled to begin production during the last quarter of this year with a production capacity of 350,000 stove devices annually. The factory will allocate its production to meet the needs of the local market and export to foreign markets, especially the markets of the African continent, the Arab countries, and Turkey.

Bosch Regional Director Mr. Goken Segen stressed the company’s keenness to invest and expand in the Egyptian market as it is one of the most important investment destinations in the Middle East and the African continent, noting that the company’s project in Egypt is in the process of completing construction operations in preparation for installing production lines and starting manufacturing.

The international company “Samsung” also obtained the golden license to establish a factory for smart phones.

Tremendous. Sisi has turned into a genius the likes of which people haven't seen before. The best thing he did was surround himself and his cabinet with great & qualified minds where they do the brunt of the research on the best ways to improve every aspect of the country's issues. A far cry from the days of Sadat & Mubarak who took pleasure in being the only decision makers without taking any advice. The debt forgiveness is huge and several other creditors will follow suit. He's figured out a way to combine foreign investments with debt forgiveness. A win win strategy.

Sisi give the go-ahead to fly the Egyptian flag on the world's tallest flagpole in the new administrative capital.
