These exhibition grade pointless statements are atleast some sort of official proof that project PFX exists, as such I wouldn't call it pointless.

On a worldly note: my gut feelings is the Turkish and Pak MICs want to get entwined in such a fashion that it upholds the letter and spirit of the Misak-i Mekka. They'd have the same genre of radars, avionics, armaments, engines etc. TFX and PFX would be like F22 and stealthy F15, a marriage made in the heavens! And, they'd work within the CCA concept in tandem with KE, ANKA-3 etc...

Proposal to look the thread till official confirmation of design lock is made. ( At the very least )

I don't think 5th gen should be a priority instead PA and PAF should focus heavily on FPV and other type of drones.. + J10 and JF-17 next block.

This is now just a wonderwaffe type weapon in our scenario now. Will be heavily targeted by both conventional and non-conventional means.

Correct but continue the work in the background. Turkey can probably sell their previous designs to Pakistan.

I don't think PAF actually needs a 5th gen on the drawing board to begin with... It needs a Medium- Heavy weight fighters for Navy Air Arm and Airforce that have sufficient range.

We need to have Squadrons along our Coast lines that have operational flexibility to provide sufficient cover and ordinance carrying capability.

On the land front having stealth drones and sufficient numbers of medium-light fighters will do the job for the next 15 years.

Our problem in North Pakistan won't be having Air craft edge but rather the ability to sustain sorties.

That should be the main focus.
