When will people learn and accept that economics is part of modern warfare? Withiut financial resources and access, no war can be fought successfully(at least not without incurring a huge and more painful toll by the end of the war).

In this situation, Russia makes money it needs and US doesn't actually fix its energy problem, so its sort of a win - win for Russia- make money off an enemy while not helping it out of its problem too much.

Pakistan used and controlled Afghanistan via the Taliban for several decades skillfully and successfully, especially during the Musharraf (US- Taliban war) era ,but it seems things went south recently,so pls own it all Pakistan- the good, the bad and the ugly, not only the current bad times. Iran can teach you guys how to foster and maintain regional and strategic relations so they don't backfire later(just my 2 cents).

It was Americans that initially begged Pakistan to be mediator and help ease tensions. Pakistan also used this opportunity in its own favor. This mediation also gave a chance to Iran to regroup its air defense forces.

And yes, Pakistan helped US and Iran come to an MOU/ deal.....which the US quickly abandoned soon after it was signed ,sooo Iran should give thanks for what again ???
