Totally yaar and that was why I used the term Nincompoop. A lot here don't understand this all harkens back to the halcyon days of General Ayub and his doctrine. That is an unfair analysis of the amazing feat that was achieved by the Quiad. He was seen as an outsider, to put it mildly, by the overwhelming majority of the Muslim population of the subcontinent for the majority of his life. The lack of support and extreme of dejection was enough for him to go into self-exile. He only gained unwavering support at the very end due to his obvious and unwavering pursuit of his people's collective interests. As also accepted and praised by his enemies of the time. I would say that his is the foremost example counter to your argument.

Dont get me wrong i stand with democracy( not the western liberal style), but there is simply no space for such adventures in a country like Pakistan, where there arent any instituitions nor the leaders capable of handling accountability by the masses. Every current political party when in power has tried its level best to not let go the kursi. So for me the show can be run from GHQ or Bani Gala or Jati Umra, i dont care as long as basic needs of the poeple of this land are fulfilled. when we reach a point where our civilazation's main concern isnt as basic as food, shelter and clothing, i'll start to care for democracy being implemented much more.

As to those crying about 'democracy': Look at what the imprisoned-idiot Khan did during his own tenure to the journalists and the opposition politicians. Yeah, every act of repression he placed on the ISI and every good policy he claimed. The politicians in Pakistan as well as the Generals and the Judges are all cut from the same cloth but at least the Generals do somewhat a decent job defending the country.

As to the Governor's rule in KP: It was imposed after a lot of hesitation and delay. But the rulers of the KP had only one agenda: Free their imprisoned leader and for that they would even embrace the terrorists. Why be surprised by that when their party leadership, including the idiot Khan, were lobbying to impose sanctions on Pakistan and publicly asking to stop sending the remittances to Pakistan.

This is what people do to avoid discussing failures of PTI that they wanna discuss the past. Did past stop PTI curbing terrorism in 2026? or did past stopped Sohail afridi from attending funeral prayers of Faujis? Or did Past stop Sohail afridi in finishing the menance of terrorism from his province in 2026?

PTI kaam hi nahi hay ye. It's the fauj's responsibility. I said this in another thread but immediately got banned from but I'll say it again;

This army literally sucks at its own job and any other job it tries to do. It's not at level of Arab armies but it's pretty pathetic by all means. Like it's genuinely embarrassing. The only reason we do ok is because of our Air Force which stays away from all these political games and focuses on its own job.

So when this useless army fails to curb the very terrorists it helped create, they need a fall guy. The fall guy in this case is PTI. Tomorrow it'll be somebody else.

Just look at how you're repeatedly asking what PTI was doing to curb terrorism as if they held all the cards. You're talking like KP police wasn't get funding or equipment in past few months. What else is a civilian provincial government supposed to do exactly?

The true motivation behind all this was to stomp out PTI they don't give a rats ass about beating TTP or curbing terrorism

If terrorism increases even further they can simply instruct news channels not to report it.

Pakistan is his to pour scorn on he is a Pakistani. He has all the right to express disappointment or anger at any policy he doesn't like.

Pakistan is not some idol that we cannot criticise. If silly things are happening then they will get made fun of.

Citizens of countries far more powerful and successful than ours regularly ridicule anything they feel like. Nothing happens. It's just catharsis.
