Were your generals even willing to listen to him? No, they wanted to impose their decisions and make Sohail Afridi take the blame. It is no secret that your generals brought terrorists, the so-called good taliban and established them in KPK. When PTI resisted, their government was overthrown, and these so-called good taliban were brought in under the caretaker government.
Also, for a moment, let us take this argument at face value, then pray tell us Balochistan which has a military Junta backed government in place, why is terrorism so rampant there, what have they achieved there that they want to achieve the same in KPK? At the very least, the KPK CM can travel anywhere in KPK, what about the military Junta and their CM travelling anywhere in Balochistan?

Decades ago, the recalcitrant govts were dismissed in a hurry, their leadership imprisoned, were put in harsh prison conditions, the political parties banned--all in no time. Look up Pakistan's history from the Ayub Khan's tenure and later. And not only the military acted like that, Zulfi Bhutto, Benazir, Nawaz AND Imran acted like dictators! But 13 years were given to the cultist regime of Imran Khan--more than given to any other political party ever in Pakistan's history. And now the cultists are bitching about 'democracy' when finally the state of Pakistan has acted?!! 13 years!

It was clearly visible that Sohail Afridi govt was giving good size of minimal budget it was receiving from center to KP police. They were getting all sorts of armoured cars, jammers and drones.

Issue to ye bhi nahi hay asal may. Wishes of KP people were not respected that they don't want operation and center is strong arming their nail-hammer solution.

It's not even about 'fighting terrorism' or any other Marvel Avengers plotline. Aisi baat hoti they'd have done it long ago not wait for a PTI long march.

It's about getting rid of the last bit of resistance for a more permanent rule. Ten or hundred soldiers die a day this does not concern the generals.

i dont understand What else do they expect from us ?? What else is considered as "support" ? Is CM Baluchistan deployed with FC baluchistan in a post ? Was that expected of CM KP as well ? To be deployed on a checkpoint and body search people crossing that checkpoint ???

Everyone here have lost their mind. Citing "lack of support of KP gicernment" as grounds to justify this murder of mandate and people's will.

They don't care. They know it's not about PTI supporting or not supporting anti terror operations. They literally do not care about common goyim dying. Either that or they're dumb enough to genuinely think the army has any incentive to fully wipe out terrorism in outer regions, which would hamper their own importance in the setup.

The issue is that PTI has been a headache for Asim Munir for quite some time now. I'll give him this much credit that he was merciful initially and offered easier outs via a 'deal'.

Imran Khan or PTI didn't take it so they got full brunt of "state machinery" (fancy term for army gunday) dealt unto them.
