Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

Learn from Denmark. 🇩🇰
Trump wanted to "acquire" Greenland for US strategic needs. The Danes stood their ground despite being a small country of only 6 million people. In the end, Trump backed out with only a "deal" that was no different from what US had before during Cold War era.
No, they did not "stand" their ground. They gave up all of the security for Greenland to the US, which was Trump's ask from the start (he went overt with talk of "acquiring" when there was some pushback from the Danes on letting Chinese/Russians operate in waters near Greenland).

Sometimes the buffoon himself does not know what he is asking for. His erratic behavior causes a lot of ripples in the system. Pakistan felt the role he played in the Pak-India 2025 conflict was worth hyping him up. And thus the nomination.

Look, there is always a lot of truth in your posts regarding the inherent flaws of the current system and nobody, be they local or diaspora, can deny that. I sincerely hope and pray we can see an end to the corruption and mismanagement that has been endemic in Pakistan. Of course governance should be partly collaborative and cooperative and residents should not live in fear simply for stating their case. We can but hope that ALL parties have learned some harsh truths over the last decade or two in this regard.

I wish I had knowledge of the best solution to all of the current ills. All I can say is that needless deaths and harm have probably been averted by this single act taken by the centre. Kabul and Delhi will be fuming the most at this development.

Very oddly, the western press has not covered this on their front pages. In fact, the nothing burger cockroach protests in Delhi are getting way more coverage, along with ongoing Russian and Gulfie dramas. A bit strange tbh.
Well, I am not even a bit hopeful that will move will bear anything good. But at the end of the day, my frustration comes from a place where you see your country regressing by the day and an army of shills supporting it.

But if it actually brings peace and prosperity, I'd be the first one to apologize to all in our forum.

Thanks for this. As cartoonish as the attempt by Pakistan to nominate him was, this is the currency for the world with Trump and his buffoonery in it.

Pakistan had nothing to lose by this nomination. So master-stroke or not, it was a little bit of capital expended for keeping things on an even keel. Now, you cannot ever trust Trump and his mood swings but such is life.

So far we've gotten off very lightly

Even India has taken more pain, humiliation and action from the U.S

Even Pakistani efforts to target Indians and the Indian diaspora have been successful

The word Pa-jeet as slur came from us and our bot army has managed to create a lot of anti-indian fervour

It was our efforts that used hindutva and Indians own simping for Zionists to make Indians hated across the Muslim world and the political left across the world

It really deserves it's own thread

Najam sethi was saying 12 districts in kpk are controlled by ttp but its not on media how good is this news?

Denmark gave up

All of Europe stood with Denmark and NATO too

And even then all security for Greenland is now controlled effectively by the USA

With the U S able to open as many military bases as it wants

Greenland is danish in name only

Bhai Pakistan has nominated him twice now i believe, kon sa Nobel prize commity ne humari sun li ? But we get some breathing space from this republican Govt, wait till the democrats take power, the same old human rights violations, sanctions , do more, will resume.

mostly ex fata area i dnt know much he just cover up
He should also tell us how many districts in my home province BALOCHISTAN are run by the BLA and how many highways have now TTP checkpoints too ( unimaginable sometime ago ). That'd be more truthful.

With the U S able to open as many military bases as it wants
They could always do that during Cold War era hence why I said Trump got the same "deal" as before and not a de facto annexation of Greenland by USA as Trump initially hoped he'd get lol.

For how long has this terrorism been the MAIN issue in Pakistan and what has military establishment done to fix the problem after their many military operations to this date? Last time I checked, Pakistan performed the worst in global ranking of countries still affected by terrorism.
The military and the government prior to the PTI tenure actually did fix a LOT of it. During Raheel Sharif's tenure, the arse-kicking meted out to the TTP was at unprecedented levels and things mellowed out (see the statistics yourself).

Second, for as long as we have the Takifiri bastards next door to us, the instigation, succor and support will continue to be provided to TTP cadres and Baloch terrorists. That is the nature of the Taliban. Currently KPK is wide open for exploitation (with over 70% of terror attacks in Pakistan happening in KPK) with no serious interdiction of Taliban support and even bases inside of KPK (I am including former FATA in KPK). This has to be limited and controlled so then the attention can be put on Afghanistan and Taliban proper.

We have our gloves on inside of KPK and are trying to manage the situation with Afghanistan with one of the gloved hands tied behind the back. That will keep on attriting Pakistan and its resources indefinitely.

The terrorism comes from the population living there

You can just try to limit it

Pakistan has done INCREDIBLY WELL, other countries in similar situations would have COLLAPSED
See Syria, Iraq, Yemen etc etc
Pakistan has been able to take a stand and fight back
Its a war
We have Hindus to the east who have been made to shut up
And we are now dealing with the Afghans in the west
The Afghans have been repeatedly defeated, the fall of the Afghan republic was a major victory for Pakistan
But the war goes beyond the Afghan state
Our enemy is the AFGHAN PEOPLE
We have started by kicking out and targeting millions of them
But this will end in a increasing amount of pain and punishment for afghans for every anti Pakistan action they take

Great post.
People don't give Pakistan the credit for standing its ground and is a point where it is poised to even grow at 4% coming months/year. It is a long war and Pakistan was at least twice pushed into major powers wars (Soviets in Afghanistan in the 80s and the Americans in Afghanistan in the 2000s/10s). There was no escaping those wars as geography dictated them. And there is no escaping another major powers' wars going on to Pakistan's west. There is no escaping getting involved though the involvments can be fine tuned.
And yet Pakistan stands and stands up to the 4th/5th largest economy of the world and to the Afghan hordes. It takes major Balls and Brains for that! And still on the street level, Pakistan often looks better to the Western tourists than India.

Don't let the Imran Khan breast beaters with their Indian and Afghan cohorts take away from the resilience of Pakistanis!

Pakistan Hamesha Zindabad!
