I didn't vote for Trump in 2024 but I got to say: He is the best POTUS for Pakistan since Nixon and the worst POTUS for India since Nixon.
A little buttering up has shored up Pakistan's $$ reserves and upgraded Pakistan's F-16s fleet--a request which was denied by Biden in 2021/22. Not a bad return for some $ss kissing!

There were two options on the table. One, to carry on as the last 3 years with more and more attrition OR change the situation by becoming more proactive.

My friend: Once you and others truly, truly understand why the chaos, the economic downfall of Pakistan suited Imran and his Cultists then things would start to make sense about his policies and actions since his ouster in April 2022. His actions and his public protestations are for all to see. There is no ambiguity in my mind that he could become another Mujibur Rehman if the ethnic factors as well as the geography were favorable to him like it was to Mujib in 1971. People don't give Pakistan the credit for standing its ground and is a point where it is poised to even grow at 4% coming months/year. It is a long war and Pakistan was at least twice pushed into major powers wars (Soviets in Afghanistan in the 80s and the Americans in Afghanistan in the 2000s/10s). There was no escaping those wars as geography dictated them. And there is no escaping another major powers' wars going on to Pakistan's west. There is no escaping getting involved though the involvments can be fine tuned.
And yet Pakistan stands and stands up to the 4th/5th largest economy of the world and to the Afghan hordes. It takes major Balls and Brains for that! And still on the street level, Pakistan often looks better to the Western tourists than India.

Don't let the Imran Khan breast beaters with their Indian and Afghan cohorts take away from the resilience of Pakistanis!

On the directions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, today I handed over 10 newly acquired Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) of Islamabad Police to KP Police to strengthen their ongoing counterterrorism operations.In view of the prevailing security situation and rising terrorist incidents in KP, the Prime Minister directed their immediate transfer.The fight against terrorism is our collective responsibility. The Federal Government stands firmly with KP Police and will extend every possible support to defeat terrorism and protect our people.

We should mass produce them and send them to KPK and Baluchistan, for far too long those poor KPK police and FC had become sitting ducks for TTP ambushes, every high-mid tier threat areas must have few of these in the patrol parties.

Exactly, if you look around the world, every allied nation has find a work around dealing with this cheeto guy, for a country like Pakistan we have seen the best side of US and the worse side of USA, and now we are tilting to a somewhat better side of USA, but it can change any moment. From Pakistan's point of view it was good diplomacy, from handing over the Terrorists who killed 13 US personnel at the start of his 2nd term to now nominating him for nobel prize, he didn't get it!!! not our problem...

I am still not sure how and why you are connecting these two statements?

First, Pakistan is not fooling the Americans by suggesting "we are on their side". How are we doing that? We are straddling the middle of the path as we have always tried to do, unless this is back to American attempts to remove IK from office. I think enough has been said about that, I don't have an argument for or against that any longer.

PM Imran Khan's "aggressively neutral" stance on Russia-Ukraine conflict was cited by US State Department official Donald Lu as the "reason" why he 'should' be removed in the yet to occur Vote of No Confidence. And despite him being completely compromised POTUS to Israel, Pakistan has been trash talking Israel in International media, UN and everywhere they can, so much so that Pakistan even went ahead with MDA and sign defense agreement with KSA. But you are right, despite all of that Pakistan for now has been on the good side of Trump and because of that even Chaato kaar like Ted Cruz and late Lindsey were holding their words against Pakistan, if i remember correctly it was only once Lindsey was caught spewing BS against Pakistan, weeks after Pakistan hosting both US/Iranian delegation in Islamabad.
