Honestly to me it seems like planned theatre. Probably created to divert attention away from the domestic scandel which robbed the nation of billions in which many of erdogans islamists were involved in.

When i see "political islamists" in nearly all cases all i see are frauds and thieves.

I also get tired of all the anti-isreal talk when your happy to keep licking the arse of the US, or england, or france.

In terms of damage done to Muslims, Isreal would sit at the bottom of that list.

umtards are a disaster for Islamic civilsation. No brains.
No, Aliyev chose to side with Israel. We are no longer brother nations...

As if the past century most Muslim countries haven't been ruled almost entirely by staunchly secular regimes that hated Islam, who've been nothing but thoroughly corrupt to the bone and brutally repressive to it's own, and accomplished nothing for their country or people for generations.

Not even sure how this event in Azerbeijan is related to Turkey however, they're two independent countries with two different unrelated governments.

It has nothing to do with Turkey, Turkey hasn't even commented. But people in Turkey are free to express their opinions, especially when people see vides of them dragging out girls in headscarves from schools who are crying, it brings bad memories, so turkish public commented on social media, this enrages Aliyev as he thinks the govt is doing it, b/c he thinks Turkey is like Azerbaijan where social media is all controlled and all state orchestrated. But if anything it leaves the govt in a tough spot, b/c it doesn't want to pick a fight. This fool caused the problem himself, and I'm starting to think he purposely did this to create an excuse to separate further from Turkiye, before this, just a few weeks back he was downplaying Turkey's role in helping liberate Karabakh.

Why did Aliyev remove Turkey's status as a guarantor state for Nakhchivan's sovereignty?

Why is he inviting Netanyahu, the head of a state that threatens Turkey?

Why is he criticising Turkey a day before his visit?

Why is he buying Israeli equipment instead of fully committing to Turkey?

Why did he interfere in Turkey's presidential elections and helped Erdoğan win the second round?

Another question: Why is Azerbaijan the poor house of the Caucasus despite being oil-rich?

All of Azerbaijan is in need of a reset. This regime must go.

Translation:
The Azerbaijani Muslim soldiers who fought on the front lines in the Armenia war, liberated the occupied lands and recited the Call to Prayer, should overthrow the dictator named Ilham Aliyev for the sake of their honor, dignity, and pride, and bring the Islam-hating leaders to trial.

Translation:
🔴 Extensive security measures were taken in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Istanbul due to a protest.

The building entrance was blocked off with police vehicles.

This Jew cocksucking Sovjet-apparatsjik should be replaced and Azerbaijan should be united with Turkey, like Germany and Austria did the Anschluss.

Translation:
✍️... After the ban on the hijab in schools, institutes, and public places in Azerbaijan, and amid the escalating public anger, only the military in the Azerbaijani army broadcasts the adhan☝️ with a loud and audible voice, from one of the military sites, in solidarity with the schoolgirls

Is the army sending a message to Ilham Aliyev?!

Will Aliyev understand the message?

The power dynamics are complicated. We don't have as much control over them, or should I say, we don't have as much control over Aliyev.

Its not that oh Turkey doesn't have this tech and can't give him, that is why he is buying Israeli. I used to think that. But then as Turkey began to more or less build everything Israel has and he continued to buy Israeli instead of a Turkish equivalent, I began to understand that the game is a little different.

He EXPLICITLY buys Israeli to not become dependent on Turkiye. A matter of fact he sees Turkiye almost as a threat, like a Big Brother he doesn't want to become dependent on or that will have leverage on him.

He triangulates, buys, Russian, Turkish, Israel and now Chinese and even Serbian for some reason.

And in many ways does things that upset Turks. Like Azerbaijan will allow Catholic Churches and Israeli linked Synagogues to be built and even Protestant Churches, but he doesn't want the Turkish Dianet to build Hanafi mosques in Azerbaijan, for some reason he sees that as a threat to his power. Then as you are seeing he is doing weird stuff like banning headscarves for people who work in govt and schools and for schoolgirls, while allowing Jewish boys to wear their hats.

There is tension in the dynamics with Aliyev as much as there is partnership with Azerbaijan. For optical reasons Turkey is never going to confront him b/c Its not in Turkish interests and because it will only make things worse, as Turkey has more to lose than gain, and he isn't really dependent on Turkey where Turkey has enough leverage to force him to behave.

Recently he was downplaying Turkey's role in helping take back Karabagh, saying they bought the weapons and he doesn't make mention of Turkey as often anymore.
An interesting historical comparison:

During the Vietnam War, South Vietnam—backed by the United States and its allies—fought a protracted and brutal conflict against North Vietnam, which was supported by the Soviet Union and China.
But, what often goes unnoticed is that, during this same period, the Soviet Union and China were actually in a state of extreme tension, teetering on the brink of full-scale war. Ho Chi Minh’s masterful diplomacy succeeded in getting these two hostile powers—poised for conflict with one another—to simultaneously throw their full weight behind his cause.
However, after the North Vietnamese regime finally unified the entire country, Vietnam began a large-scale purge of pro-China factions within its borders, and its national policy shifted to align completely with the more powerful Soviet Union.
During the Vietnam War, China was in the midst of the Cultural Revolution, a period of extreme internal chaos and poverty. Yet, Mao Zedong remained steadfast in supporting North Vietnam at any cost. However, the CCP leadership certainly did not anticipate this major shift in Vietnam's national policy. ------ After coming to power, Deng Xiaoping decided he would no longer tolerate this "betrayal." Consequently, the Sino-Vietnamese War broke out.

If we compare the issue you mentioned, do you see it? It bears a striking resemblance to the historical case I cited.

Why did Aliyev remove Turkey's status as a guarantor state for Nakhchivan's sovereignty?

Probably to remove Russian influence since they were a party to the same treaty. With Armenia defeated and moving towards the Turkish/Western camp, there doesn't seem to be any need for it. Turkiye is an ally either way.

Why is he inviting Netanyahu, the head of a state that threatens Turkey?

Because to go against Isreal is to bring America and much of the western apparatus against you. Now look at their geopolitical considerations. They had 150 million Russian to their north, 90 million Iran to their south, meanwhile the EU under French influence was pro-armenian. It would be suicide for Azerbaijan to against Isreal in the way erdogan is, absolute suicide. Iran had good relations with China and Russia, it didnt mean shit when the americans came knocking. To be against Isreal would have meant that Azerbaijan would have had the EU, Russia, US, Iran and Isreal against her. The position she took allowed them to reclaim their lands.

Why is he criticising Turkey a day before his visit?

Theatre for the zionists masses who are starting to believe that Azerbaijan being ally of Turkiye is thus an enemy of Isreal.

Why is he buying Israeli equipment instead of fully committing to Turkey?

Because he needs to political connection of the western world, primarily the USA.

Why did he interfere in Turkey's presidential elections and helped Erdoğan win the second round?

Probably because erdogan supported him economically, politically and militarily.

Every nation has her geopolitical considerations, you ignore the realities you end up getting f'ked by realities.

We cannot afford to go to war with Isreal any time soon, not until we have a fully functioning domestically made airforce.

Truthfully it was dumb politics to go openly against isreal back with the "one minute" in 2009. Turkiye should have kept things smooth for another 20 years to buy the time for our defence industry to mature, then you can do what you need to instead of barking like the iranians and then getting f'ked in the end.

Secularism doesn't mean you hate religion, it means you are free to be religious or to be irreligious. The worst thing you can do in todays world is force religion onto people, that turns people away.

In terms of corruption, most Muslim majority nations are corrupt to the core. The identity is just a face. Turkiye today is exceptionally corrupt despite claims of an islamist government.

In terms of Turkiye though it was a secular minded leader who created the Turkish state, saved it from division and occupation while also laying the foundations for the what nation has become today and potentially what it will become in the future.

It was a secular minded leader who stopped the white Christians applying the al andulus model to Turkiye, while also turning Antolia into a majority Muslim state.

It was secular minded leaders who went to war with the greeks and crushed the greek christians from exterminating the Muslim Turks. It was secular minded Alyiev that went to war with the christian armenians and liberated Muslim lands from the Armenian/Russian occupation.

While conversely Iran being a Islamic republic has spent most of its time killing Muslims. Its theocratic dictatorship has actually had the effect of turning Iranians away from Islam. Likewise do we need to talk about the Gulf states who have financed islamism on the behest of the USA to radicalise Muslims globally. Since the west needs radicalism, so they can then use it as an invite to come in and destroy muslims.

The point is that the underlying problem of corruption is not tied to seclarism or sharia, its tied the general attitude of a nations people. Most of these secular Muslim majority nations, will be just as corrupt if not more so under Sharia. since the underlying cause of corruption is not addressed.

"the people get the government they deserve". Your government becomes a reflection of your society. Look at the governments of Japan, Korea, China, the USA or anywhere else. If a nation is a utterly corrupt and a failure, its because the mass of her people have not elevated themselves to expect more from their governments.

I don't think it is related with Azerbaijan.

However, this thing is beyond corruption, we are talking about 8$ Billion directly stolen from ordinary citizens, their savings are gone. Because they send their money to a fund and AKP related people stole that money.

And as usual journalist thrown into jail for making news about this and AKP people still roam freely.

I don't give a shit at this moment, i'm earning more than enough for my family.
