Whichever country has more advanced technology will gain a larger market share.
Chinese fighter jets are capturing not only Russia’s market share, but also that of Europe and the United States.

sn’t Pakistan an independent country? Before purchasing the J-10, weren’t Pakistan’s main fighter jets American-made?
Indonesia plans to purchase 42 J-10 fighter jets; previously, its main combat aircraft were American- and Russian-made.

We should look at things from a developmental perspective. Twenty years ago, who would have used products made by BYD or Huawei? Yet today, BYD and Huawei have taken the world by storm.

only 2 countries you come with lol and Indonesia deal is still not confirmed and its early phase and as for Pakistan, Pakistan has no other options to buy fighter jets from China because west countries and USA are reluctant to sell their latest fighter jets to Pakistan, you're replacing only Russian jets not western and US jets in export market

From what you’re saying, Pakistan seems to be widely disliked internationally! Neither Europe nor the United States would like to sell advanced fighter jets to Pakistan.
The United States in particular refuses to sell Pakistan advanced fighter aircraft despite being its ally.
Why?

Only by name we are their ally, but they consider us as threat to them, and you know very well why they didn't sell advanced fighter jets to Pakistan (terrorism and no $$$) you're selling us weapons on soft loans but west/USA want hard cash not on loan or other financial settings

We should look at things from a developmental perspective. Twenty years ago, who would have used products made by BYD or Huawei? Yet today, BYD and Huawei have taken the world by storm.
2001: First commercial deployment: Huawei deployed a 10 Gbps Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) system in Berlin, Germany, which is regarded as its first commercial operation in the European market.

2004: Key contract and establishment of headquarters: In December, Huawei won a 3G network contract from the Dutch operator Telfort, its first major 3G contract in Europe. In the same year, Huawei established its European headquarters in the United Kingdom.

2005: Breakthrough with mainstream operators: Huawei successfully passed the strict certification of British Telecom (BT) and was admitted to the preferred supplier list for its "21st Century Network," a landmark event seen as its breakthrough into the European mainstream market.

2006: Large-scale entry into the consumer market: It signed a five-year agreement with Vodafone, the world's largest mobile operator, to provide customized 3G handsets in 21 countries, marking the first large-scale entry of Huawei's handset products into Europe's mainstream market.

Huawei is not just about selling phones. Its telecom equipment accounts for about 27.5% of the EU fixed network market, and in the core infrastructure segment of 4G/5G radio access networks, its historical peak share reached as high as 45% (2020). In key markets like Germany, it even reached about 60% (2022). The Huawei brand had already entered too many European households 20 years ago.

It now appears that China and the United States are on the same page.

China is also no longer offering concessional loans to Pakistan, favoring regular commercial trade instead.
This year, the Chinese government rejected Pakistan’s request to defer its debt repayments. The new J-10 fighter jets have still not been delivered, and it also seems that Pakistan will not be the first international customer for the J-35.

January 13, 2025: The Export-Import Bank of China Unwilling to Continue Providing Concessional Loans

Media outlet: Pakistan’s Business Recorder
English headline: Chinese Exim Bank refuses to extend concessional loans

Key points:

On December 19, 2024, Pakistan’s Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal, met with officials from the Export-Import Bank of China in Beijing.
Citing informed sources, the newspaper reported that the Export-Import Bank of China said its concessional financing window was limited and advised Pakistan to consider alternative financing options.
The Chinese side also expressed concern over Pakistan’s outstanding payments to Chinese independent power producers (IPPs), noting that these arrears were also affecting the bank in its capacity as a project financier.

This report directly concerns the cautious stance of a Chinese policy bank toward providing Pakistan with new concessional financing.

July 12, 2026: Chinese Companies Refuse to Waive Approximately PKR 170 Billion in Late-Payment Charges

Media outlets: The Express Tribune, Moneycontrol

English headline: China refuses to waive off PKR 170 billion burden, Pakistan now hunts for $10 billion Saudi lifeline

Key points:

As of the end of June 2026, unpaid receivables for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) power projects totaled approximately PKR 423 billion.
Of this amount, around PKR 170 billion involved late-payment surcharges.
Pakistan sought waivers of these charges from Chinese power producers and related financial institutions.
According to reports, the Chinese companies and financing institutions concerned were unwilling to forgo the contractually stipulated late-payment charges.
Pakistan is therefore seeking approximately US$10 billion in low-interest financing to refinance costly energy debt, with Saudi Arabia among the potential funding sources.
