May I ask, which country has never had a civil war or internal unrest? Japan has had them, and so has the United States...

Its never about the number of people who died. Its the manner of which they were killed. Forced Incest, biological testings, bayonnetting babies is different from dying from starvation.

Those numbers in Chinese history are estimates at best. So, those are Chinese civil wars didn't nearly come to the same brutalities of the Jap bas*****. It's totally inappropriate and despicable to equate those Chinese civil wars in history with the the savage wars waged by Japs on China as some Japs attempt to do so, Japs and foreigners have no right to mess up in Chinese own history, period.

We might dislike Britain’s colonial past, but I don’t expect the rest of the world to hate Britain over it. I’m actually quite fond of the British way of life. I spent ten years there studying and working, and have very fond memories.

It's mostly a race thing with them. For instance we aren't holding grudges against the British for burning down the WhiteHouse and Capital buildings but if it was Asians who did it..well the grudges may last longer.

It's just pent up white..white..white..for the British Army being there and Japan..Japan..Japan for the Imperial Army being there..
