Special Note:

APEC China 2026. This is merely a routine meeting focused on economic affairs; it is not something to be blown out of proportion.
But, in today’s exceptionally volatile world—shaped by a variety of external forces—the nature of this routine economic meeting is gradually undergoing a transformation!

Initially, this was intended to be a routine international economic conference. Russian President Vladimir Putin was the first to announce his personal attendance. While the U.S. government has yet to provide official confirmation, President Trump has already publicly stated on several occasions that he intends to attend in person.

However, Russian media floated the idea of a potential trilateral summit between the leaders of China, the United States, and Russia—a move aimed at finding a way out of the ongoing, intense Russia-Ukraine war.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy immediately responded, asserting that if the Russia-Ukraine conflict were to be discussed during such a meeting, Ukraine must have a seat at the table.

To date, neither China nor the United States has responded to Russia’s proposal. Whether a trilateral meeting between the leaders of China, the U.S., and Russia will take place during the 2026 APEC summit—and whether such a meeting would delve into the Russia-Ukraine war—remains entirely unknown.

The time is drawing near! Let us wait and see!

BYD has been named the official designated vehicle provider for APEC China 2026.

* This is just a minor matter. However, given the recent buzz surrounding Pakistan’s procurement of Maybach vehicles in preparation for next year’s SCO summit, I’ve shared this news. For your reference!

Trump and Putin want to discuss Ukraine issue in Shenzhen? And to talk about the Ukrainian war without considering Ukraine? Is this dividing Ukraine as a colony? These two guys are too much.

Russian President Vladimir Putin recently held a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump. Shortly thereafter, Russian media and certain officials floated the idea of a trilateral summit—involving the leaders of China, the U.S., and Russia—to take place on the sidelines of the 2026 APEC summit in China, with the aim of discussing the aftermath of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Naturally, this remains merely a proposal from the Russian side for now. Neither China nor the United States has issued an official response. When asked about this by a reporter, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry replied that there was no information to share.

Yalta Conference 2.0

I still think Zelenskyy should be invited to Shenzhen for face-to-face negotiations with Putin. The Chinese government can guarantee the personal safety of both parties.

This war has already caused millions of deaths, it should end.

If I was China I would let the war to continue. The longer the war the more Russia gets wrecked, the cheaper the gas. You can’t stop the war anyway even you want it.
Most people outside think Putin wants Donbas, he wants to kill Nazi, he wants to stop NATO, that’s misleading.
Putin endgame is annihilating Ukraine as state, country and race.

So you are Vietnamese and I am Chinese. You have only learned about the power struggle part of Confucian culture and do not understand the principles of "过犹不及" and "围三阙一".

A $1.3 trillion surplus is already plenty, and now we will take a few steps back appropriately. As for Russia, we never thought we could control it; is just a European fantasy.

Russians are our unmovable neighbors. In the long run, we need a healthy bilateral relationship, not money gained through hatred and exploitation. Do you understand? We are not Anglo-Saxons. We are not that arrogant and extreme, nor are we that greedy and stupid.

There is a basic rule: very difficult too impossible to negotiate with psycho. Hitler wanted to kill the Jews until the last baby.
imagine, you lived back in that period, you think you can negotiate with him?
Of course Russia doesn’t move away from Europe, neither from China. But that’s just a question of geography. As for your quote, yes, Europe should not push Putin into a corner with no way out.

And Russia's dependence on China is only temporary. China sells industrial products, and as long as sanctions are lifted, Russia will inevitably reduce imports of Chinese goods and resume trade with the European Union. On the contrary, China's dependence on Russian energy is terrifying. Europe regards Russia as a vassal of China, but we Chinese have never thought so.
