PARIS -- A weekend event for Pittsburgh Steelers fans in Paris has been canceled because of security concerns following recent street protests in the French capital.

The NFL and the team both said Thursday that the event -- at a bar in the Bastille neighborhood -- was off.

The announcement came a day after league commissioner Roger Goodell said he has a high comfort level in the the teams playing in Paris amid recent civil unrest.

Patriots are a good team it looks like they have shaken off the cobwebs Mayes had but he did mess up first half with an int costing them a TD which was pretty much the difference. Virginia man accused of tying wife to chair so he could watch football​

Virginia Statewide Incidents reported that Ward said he did it so he could watch football upstairs. His wife had marks around her arms, and she estimated that she was tied up for 30 to 45 minutes.
Ward was arrested and charged with felony abduction and misdemeanor assault and battery of a family member. He's due back in court on November 10.
