Federal cabinet gives nod to imposition of emergency in KP; summary sent to president

How many of the former chiefs have retired "overseas"? I can tell you, of the living ones, the oldest is Aslam Beg (In Pakistan), Asif Janjua (deceased in Pakistan), Wahid Kakar (Pakistan), Jehangir Karamat (in Pakistan), Pervez Musharraf (deceased, died in Dubai on account of a very rare health issue), Kiyani (Pakistan), Raheel Sharif (Pakistan) and even Bajwa is in Pakistan.

So where are all these retired overseas COAS?

The above is a case of ad-nauseam repeating the same canard over and over in the hope people will start believing it. Unfortunately many gullible do.
Bringing this point back up. Another Army chief passed away, yet in Pakistan.

Just yesterday, Gen Abdul Wahid Kakar (coursemate of my father's), passed away in Rawalpindi:

SWABI:
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday said harmony with the federal government was a welcome development and a stroke of good fortune for the province, stressing that K-P could not function without the federation's cooperation.

Speaking to the media after attending a gathering in Swabi, the governor said the province's problems could only be resolved through joint efforts with the centre. Promoting cordial and brotherly relations with the federation and other provinces was among his top priorities, he added.

Kundi noted that six months was a long period and that everyone must fight terrorism together through coordinated action to meet the challenge. He also called for action against encroachments without discrimination and strictly in accordance with the law, pledging that he would apply the law to himself first.

The governor affirmed that the media had every right to offer constructive criticism, saying positive critique helped improve institutional performance. He underlined the need for a revolution in education and health, as well as revolutionary steps to bring real improvement in institutions and deliver better facilities to the public.
So now you 1000% agree that Karachi is ran great and is the greatest city of the country with no issues

Right?😂😂

Will "fix" it by allowing untold number of feudal lords to sit in the country's own parliament / National Assembly? 🙄
Seems Karachi is now New York City we dont need governor raj anymore in sindh

Zero crime zero drugs in karcahi mashallah

Zaradri is now patwaris father

Better salary in Afghanistan? Pakistani can earn remittance by sending skill workers to Afghanistan. :P

This is for those who wanted to kick every Afghani out of Pakistan. You never close all the door. God forbid If Arab kicked Pakistani out, where will our 60% to 70% low-skilled/unskilled workers will go?

That's great. Afghanistan offers huge opportunities for workers. Great.

Now all the remaining Afghan refugees, including documented and otherwise, need to leave (or be expelled from) Pakistan so that they can avail the great opportunities in Afghanistan. There is no justification for any one now to keep crying for these Afghan refugees. We should be happy for them.

We should wish all the best to these Afghan refugees and Afghanistan. However, the Pak-Afghan border must be kept closed in order to deal with smuggling and terrorism.

Unlike yo*thias, it seems, pat*aris don't change their father. I never saw any one from them saying Bajwa or anyone else was their father.

We have strayed much too far from this path of rationality, by adopting modern purple inked idolatry and loudspeaker jhalsa culture, and actually need to return to this more traditional form of governance by way of a truly benevolent dictatorial council
So suggest. How do you want to elect/select our leaders? Do we have tribal culture across Pakistan?
If not, then how can we satisfy the conditions of Arabia 1400 years ago? bcz we cannot pick and choose.
Islam came for the world. It is not bounded by a single political system. It gives principles to govern and rule. We are free to adopt any system under those guidelines.

What has this anything to do with fighting terrorism — which was federal government's main reason for imposing emergency & governor rule in KPK? 🙄
nothing.. just bribing locals to become GHQ's lackeys. Asim wants to dismantle PTI by hook and crook.

Suffering from selective amnesia again? 🙄
Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif famously vowed to carry forward the mission of military dictator General Zia-ul-Haq following Zia's death in a plane crash in August 1988.
As a political protégé of the military regime, Sharif made this pledge during his early political career to secure the support of Zia’s loyalists and the conservative establishment.

Asim wants to dismantle PTI by hook and crook.
Just because PTI is now the last remaining opposition standing between him and the complete & utter dominance of military establishment in Pakistan 🇵🇰
Parliament, Supreme Court, Presidency has successfully been "conquered" by the establishment under Asim Munir already...
