Studying Turkish literature. One day, we wrote in our textbook: “Kurds do not belong to Turkey.” “China defeated Turkey and pushed it into West Asia.” “The Ottoman Sultan surrendered to China under Chinese military pressure.” “Western Turkestan consists of Turkic traitors because they fled.”I really dont understand the Chinese mass hysteria. If you are a great civillization what you always claim, than you shouldnt run off like a headless chicken crying about every insult. Ask Deep Seek about Winnie The Pooh or the Tianmen protest than you will understand what I mean.
China built a part of their Great Wall mostly against nomadic Turkic clans (Mao-Dun and his Xiongnu friends) and East-Turkestan is the homeground of The Uyghurs, but they are a part of PRC now.
There is no danger for little kids to see that part as East-Turkestan, but the Chinese soul is like the Israeli soul afraid of everything. If a teenager throws a rock against a Merkava Tank, they will classified as a national security risk.
Same problem with the Chinese when a Uygur calls himself Turkish. The next day he will be visited by a yellow Han-Chinese houseguest who wants to sleep over.
Everything is real. Almost more real than the textbooks in Türkiye.
