Pakistan Closes Airspace to Taiwanese Airlines in Support of China

The problem is Taiwan's ecosystem from politics to media to military is pretty much controlled by the US. Government of Taiwan is just a puppet. The DPP is also very pro-Japan and KMT to a lesser extent. For peaceful reunification to happen, Taiwan has to get rid of the overwhelming US and Japan influences.

I know what you mean, but it's just too difficult...

The KMT can easily ignore Japan.

But the US... well...

Both DPP and Takaichi are planning to drag the US into the war against China, but the US wants to push these two as its useful cannon fodders.

So they are pushing against each other.
Not surprising, the DPP are traitors, They even worship the savage Japanese colonizers of Taiwan. They will sell anything in Taiwan including Taiwan sovereignty and small islands to anyone supporting their dream of separation.

I’m used to it—I can’t change!

I’m from Mianyang, Sichuan!

Haha, alright then!... 😆

I'll leave it here. We've gone way off topic... 😆

My fellow Chinese, I love you all....🩷

Many deep green DPP members literally have the Japanese blood running inside of them.

And they want to split Taiwan from China, but to re-unify it with Japan.

Otherwise, Sanae Takaichi wouldn't say something like Taiwan's problem is Japan's problem.

That's the problem, there are about 5% to 10% people living in Taiwan are decendants of Japanese stayed there after WW II. Many of them hold important and influential positions in the society and they certainly don't want to see Taiwan reuniting with mainland China. Have to blame Jiang Kai-Shek, he never cleaned the Japanese colonizers, but he was also fond of Japanese anyways.

They want to hold a referendum to become independent, then another referendum to join Japan.

Japan wants to repeat a Crimea scenario on China, because they know that China is 100% focusing to build the most developed high tech economy in the world that cannot afford any major disruption.

Because China is now annihilating Japan's remaining industries just like it has done to Europe, so instead of sitting idly, they want to gamble all in for another time.

Japan is definitely one of the biggest gamblers of all time without thinking any consequence.

Yeah, Japan gambled three wars in modern times, twice against China including one also with US, once against Russia, it won twice and lost WW II. It gained a lot from the two wars it won and didn't pay anything for losing WW II. So, it's tempting for them to gamble to start war again esp if they possess nukes and that are what they are trying hard to develop.

Takaichi and her far right-wingers subconsciously know that China is currently far superior to Japan, and the gap is perhaps even much wider than the WWII US and Japan.

Otherwise, they will still irrationally try to attack China by building those their own cocoon information echo chamber to boost the morale of their own people to suicidally attack China.

Most of us are rational people, we might think that the current Japan is too weak to attack China.

However, the Japanese far right-wingers with suicidal tendency are not rational at all, they might still attack you regardless how strong you have become.

It looks like they have not rescended the ban but just delayed till March 2027?

It's good to have established a mechanism. The maturity of the progressive initiative may dawn upon people later on.

It seems One China policy is a red line for Pakistan which puts it in stark contrast to Indian ambitions regarding One China policy.

I know some people won't appreciate this move, but I believe having a solid policy on such matters that mirrors the interests of your long term strategic partners is imperative for serious nations. China has been in our corner many times, this is a small token to show which side of the camp we are setting our stall in.

People must always remember the age old idiom "know which side your bread is buttered". :ROFLMAO:
Today I also saw this news being discussed on Chinese internet, and some media professionals' views are relatively positive. Many netizens are saying, "As expected, Pakistan is our iron brother!"😃

Why are Pakistani hellbent on ruling out the possibility that it got nothing to do with one china policy ...it could be something else .

Another example of egg -headed policy from the duffer regime. They have already pissed off Japan, which had never been adversarial to Pakistan, enough that they endorsed India's position on terrorism originating from Pakistan in their joint statement. Now they are needling Taiwan for no good reason. The relationship with three bordering countries is already terrible.

I am guessing the initial decision was because of danda from China and then danda from Amreeka forced a humiliating U-turn.
