Yemen Civil War News and Discussion.. an evolving situation

How about in Syria ? I mean many prophet offspring are both in Yemen and Syria right ?

Prophet offspring hiding in Yemen during Umayyah and then many of them move to Syria during Abassiyah.

Before Umayah take control, Ali family was in Basrah, Iraq
Present across all of the Arab world and many areas of the Muslim and non-Muslim world today, brother.

Most of those families have a Sanad al-Nasab or a Shajra-e-Nasab. Or other documentation or a lineage that can be verified historically throughout time. Arabs were incredibly meticulous when it came to ancestry and documenting ancestry. Probably more than any other people.

"Yes, historically, Arabs developed one of the most meticulous and rigorous systems of genealogical recording in the ancient and medieval world, known as ‘Ilm al-Ansab (علم الأنساب), which translates directly to the "Science of Lineages." [1, 2]
This obsession with tracking ancestry was not just a hobby; it was a socio-political necessity for tribal survival, legal rights, and religious prestige. The meticulousness of Arab genealogical preservation was concentrated across three primary areas: [1, 2]

We are off-topic so I am ending it here.

The air defenses destroyed two Houthi terrorist cult ballistic missiles aimed towards Riyadh:

As I wrote before and initially, a political solution is the most realistic option long-term.

KSA nor any other outside power is interested or willing to potentially sacrifice (worst case scenario) 1000's if not 10.000's of soldiers to root the Houthi terrorist cult out completely from the territory of Yemen that they control.

The Houthi terrorist cult, due to Yemeni state failures (Yemen as a political entity has been one big failure since the unification in 1990 despite being blessed with amble fertile lands, some of the world's most strategic sea trade routes, a large succesful diaspora, large population, one of the world's oldest civilizations and cultures etc) but due to internal Yemeni failures, the status quo is as it is.

The Houthi terrorist cultists would never have succeeded to this degree if the Yemeni state was strong and Yemenis were united.

99.99% of the brunt of the Houthi terrorist cult evils befalls Yemeni people themselves (mostly those that are unfortunate to live under their incompetent rule) not Saudi Arabians or other Arabs or Muslims.

As demonstrated recently, Houthi terrorist cult attacks on KSA is only a disruption - not an existential threat.

My hope is that the Yemeni people will eventually rise up and become tired of living in absolute misery (under Houthi terrorist cult rule) and that the Houthis themselves will eventually reform and realize that they need to live in peace with their main and most important neighbor (KSA) that they border directly (2000 km) if they want prosperity and stability and that parroting the Iranian policy in the region is a death sentence long-term.

Once again the problem was never the Zaydis - who until the Houthi coup in 2014 remained the dominant military and political force despite being a minority in Yemen (35-40% are Zaydis rest are mostly Sunni Shafi's). Ali Abdullah Saleh was a Zaydi himself. KSA was the main ally of Yemen back then as well.

I already covered the relations pre-1970 when North Yemen was ruled by the Zaydi Imam/King. Same story.

On the other hand you would like to see the menace, for the sake of Yemen, Yemenis and region to be dealt with harshly and swiftly, even if it would cost a lot, but there is always the fear (in the context of Yemen) that 5-10 years down the line (even without the Houthis) the Yemenis will start another civil war. Or turn on KSA or their allies.

Unfortunately with Yemen being the most tribal Arab state and most complex in this regard, tribal loyalties can change very quickly and many tribal sheikhs and leaders are very opportunistic.

The idea that somehow KSA (regime, people or just general common sense) are interested in an unstable southern neighbor that we share 2000 km of borders with and almost everything else (people to people ties, cultural, historical, ancestral, linguistic, religious, geographic) is pure lunacy. Nothing would benefit KSA more than a stable and prosperous Yemen and wider region.

Even more so when KSA has been focused on internal and regional growth.

As far as Iran goes, I am 100% sure that the moment the current Iranian regime is toppled or truly reformed, KSA and Iran will have cordial ties like before 1979. Or even during large parts of the 1990's under Khatami.

But it is hard to argue with religious fanatics and their religious propaganda that they cleverly use to fool the average Ali and Muhammad within their own borders and outside of it. Of course the Houthi terrorist cult does not even belief (leadership) 1% of the propaganda that they spew against their own people (Yemenis), KSA or others.

Quite frankly, the region should take a look at how Europe reformed after WW2 and stopped killing each other 24/7. Even though the Ukrainians and Russians have not read the memo this time around or the Balkans before but nevertheless, you don't see the Brits or French killing each other anymore or the Danes and Swedes or the Germans and French etc.

See this terrorist is accusing and slandering that most Iranian touts do. Houthi terrorists target the two holiest cities of the Muslims, civilian airports and infrastructure in Saudi Arabia with missiles and drones. Such terrorists have no credibility and are ignored by the world community as liars and deceivers.

Saudis are fighting a bloody war against these terrorists on behalf of the civilized world and destroying the Houthis and their terrorist infrastructure in Yemen.. It is imperative to eliminate these terrorists for the sake of free global trade.

Eight hours of intense fighting on Yemen's front lines: More than 1,700 airstrikes target the Houthis, inflicting heavy casualties.

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced a significant military escalation against the Houthi terrorist militia, reporting 1,731 targeting operations on October 28 and 29. These operations resulted in the neutralization of 563 militia leaders and members, and the destruction or disabling of 225 military vehicles and equipment, as part of the ongoing "Dawn of Yemen" operation across multiple battlefronts.

According to a report published by Sheba Intelligence, a website specializing in Yemeni affairs, the cumulative number of targeting operations announced by government forces since the start of the operation on October 4 has risen to at least 31,870, while the number of Houthi terrorist militia members and leaders neutralized has exceeded 17,663.

Government forces continue their military operations against militia fortifications, command centers, reinforcements and supply lines, as part of a campaign aimed at weakening their fighting capabilities and preventing their members from reorganizing their ranks, amid ongoing clashes in Taiz, Marib, Al-Jawf, Al-Bayda and the southern and western fronts of Yemen.

1,731 Operations in Two Days

Military data revealed that the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out 982 targeting operations on October 29, using fighter jets, drones, field artillery, and rocket launchers. These operations targeted Houthi militia reinforcements, advanced command and control centers, sniper positions, firing emplacements, and supply routes.

These operations resulted in the neutralization of 324 militia members and commanders, in addition to the destruction or disabling of 108 military vehicles and pieces of medium and heavy weaponry.

This followed 749 targeting operations on October 28, which resulted in the neutralization of 239 Houthi members and the destruction or disabling of 117 military vehicles and equipment, bringing the total number of operations in 48 hours to 1,731.

31,000 Targeting Operations

A report by Sheba Intelligence revealed that the number of announced military operations has exceeded 31,000 since the start of Operation Dawn of Yemen. This figure reflects the intensity and breadth of the military campaign across several fronts.

The strikes target command and control sites, defensive fortifications, troop concentrations, and military reinforcements belonging to the Houthi terrorist militia, as well as weapons depots and logistical movements, with the aim of reducing their ability to manage combat operations and regroup their forces.

More than 17,600 Houthis Killed

The cumulative tally compiled by Sheba Intelligence from military data shows that the number of Houthi terrorist militia members and leaders who have been declared neutralized since the start of the operation has risen to more than 17,663.

These figures indicate the scale of the human losses inflicted on the militia by the Yemeni army in less than a month, coinciding with the continued targeting of their military vehicles, defensive positions, and supply networks.

Taiz at the Heart of the Clashes

Government forces, supported by Popular Resistance units, continue their military operations on the Taiz front, targeting reinforcements and attempts by the Houthi terrorist militia to regroup.

According to military statements, government forces maintained their positions and repelled attempts by militia elements to advance, supported by airstrikes and artillery fire.

Operations have extended to the Marib, Al-Jawf, and Al-Bayda fronts, in addition to the southern and southwestern fronts, with continued targeting of fortifications, military gatherings, weapons depots, and supply movements, alongside efforts to clear mines and improvised explosive devices.

Continued Military Pressure

These developments come within the framework of Operation "Dawn of Yemen," launched on October 4th, as part of a military campaign aimed at restoring state authority over areas controlled by the Houthi terrorist militia.

Government forces, supported by coalition air operations, continue to target militia positions and combat capabilities on multiple fronts, focusing on command centers, military reinforcements, and supply lines to prevent the regrouping of forces and the restoration of their ability to launch attacks.

The released military statements reflect the continued pace of operations and the expanding scope of the confrontation, as the Yemeni army continues its operations aimed at restoring state control over Yemeni territory.

They are pretenders and will flee upon first airstrikes...
