Given the degree of combat, where the USA/Israel has destroyed close to $300billion of infrastructure as per Iranian clams, the return for the USA is high. Most of what has been lost, has been designed to be disposable anyway, ie drones/UAV etcs.

Not that cheap - an MQ-9 costs in the $30-35 mln range.

Iran also shot down an MQ-4C Triton which is a very expensive maritime recon aircraft worth over $100 mln.

Today, I used several AI tools to conduct an interesting analysis.

Iran vs the U.S./Israel war. If we look at the direct economic losses on both sides—including the value of assets destroyed and the cost of munitions expended in attacks—while excluding indirect economic impacts, the results are quite intriguing.

The total losses for Iran would be slightly lower than those for the U.S./Israel.

If we expand the scope to include the losses incurred by neighboring countries, the comparison becomes even more surprising. I won’t give away the answer—feel free to use AI tools to run the analysis yourself...
