Makkah Defence Alliance: Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, news & updates

Did we not have countries supporting us? Turks sent their Naval destroyer to Karachi port and Azerbaijan also supported us.
And do you not think if/when a real bad longterm war starts that muslims from other countries would not wanna join in the defense of Pakistan?......Pakistan has done every little bit it can over decades to support others where it could, and many/most of those countries appreciate it

in a true world war or big regional war, the muslims we all are in it together......there is no separating us. Even somrthing like mutual Dua binds us together....
Unfortunately, the sub-continental folks have got extremely short span for keeping their tempo up! They show humungous burst of energies, but they're damn short. And, they're followed by prolonged periods of inertia. Hence, any Indo-Pak tussle would be short but intense. And, you need to liberate the IIOK within this windows of opportunity....

Time will tell. Of course all nations in the Mecca pact are bound to help each other in times of conflict. No doubt that Türkiye and KSA will always come to Pakistan's aid versus India. Troops on the ground in such a conflict is something else.

Troops on the ground is a basic operational requirement of the pact.

In strict religious sense, Pakistan did not help them so that they can return favor some day. If someone feels that obligation, they are alone in their burden.

In strict ruleset of nation states, Pakistan only negotiated the option with Saudis and Turks, based on proven historical record of not coming short when required and share converging longterm nation state interest.

$109 billion spent on defence yet india still remains a sh*thole country and military that was resoundingly defeated by Pakistan with several french-made rafale jets shot and india not being able to do ANYTHING about it.....................there is a REASON why sh*thole india is completely irrelevant on the world stage now and why the rest of the world mocks and ridicules india and indians.......:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
But saaar we won saaar we do so by losing assets aircraft bases brigade headquarters and missile storage facilities it's a ploy saaar pleaj it's our way of winning saaar.

Lots of valid points. Pact needs more assets, more interopertability and heavy airlift for sure but remember all three (army and air forces especially) have exercised together frequently in the past, in the case of Saudi/Pak forces almost every month there is something going on and the PAF/TAF relationship across F-16s and staff/cadet training is very well documented.

At almost every level from Squadron Leader/Major to General/air Marshal Pak officers are very familiar with their Turkish and Saudi counterparts and most have had some exposure to one or both countries.

NATO did not suddenly become the organisation it is now when it was formed in 1949. It took years to from commands, add interoperability and new members. Could well be the same here but it seems it has got off to a good start.

My priorities would be

1) Joint R&D and munitions manufacturing so we have mass but also redundancy in case of war so one nation can supply the other
2) Heavy sealift and airlift capabilities. Turks have an edge here but could mean Y-20 for PAF and A400 for Saudis
3) Common naval and air platforms. Turks and Pak have MILGEM/Jinnah, Saudi should procure this
4) Joint air platform is very hard considering PAF going for Chinese ecosystem and J-35, can be Saudi funds a joint KAAN but and all three share a pool of say 200 KAANs in addition to their home fleets?

Your idea is a bit too difficult to implement! Perhaps you could begin by establishing a joint military coordination center—specifically at the level of military operations, rather than at the level of politics or diplomacy.

BTW.
China does indeed permit the export of the Y-20 series of transport aircraft. However, the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) currently faces a significant shortfall in the number of these aircraft; although the Xi'an Aircraft Industrial Corporation (XAC) is making strenuous efforts to accelerate production, a substantial gap remains. Consequently, even if the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) were to place an order immediately, there would be a very long wait due to the production schedule.

The Il-78 tanker-transport aircraft currently operated by the PAF features a multi-role design, allowing it to also function as a transport aircraft.
Naturally, this depends on the specific cargo you intend to transport. In general, the Il-76/78 series and the Y-20 series belong to the same class of transport aircraft, though there are some differences in the details.

Yes, by default any alliance like this needs a coordination centre. As I posted in my original post it took NATO many years and will be same for Makkah pact.

If airlifters are needed PAF can wait, this is a pact requirement not an urgent PAF operational need
