Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

Israel sent 3 quadcopters and 3 Blue Sparrow missiles to attack Iran and at best 1 hit a target. If Israel did take out the 92N6 radar then that would count as 85% interception rate for Iran's integrated air defense as apposed to "84%" for the Israelis!

3 quadcopters and 3 blue sparrows should not be able to infiltrate one of the most heavy defended areas of Iranian soil.

This isn’t Gaza and Jerusalem. Israel is 1000KM away. And off the shelf Quadcopters should not be able to infiltrate any major tatical airforce base inside iran in 2024, maybe in 2007 sure.

I’ll wait till more info comes out.

5 of them didn't make it!

I used to only understand Sparrow as an old aerial aunched target missile, but it seems that the modern Sparrow is a kind of Marv and can travel much further than its booster discard point.

Since the boosters were found 100 km from the Iranian border, it is almost certain that the three missiles reached Iranian territory.
The Iranian government's silence on the matter could be due to the following reasons:
- The Sparrow warheads got lost somewhere and Iran, unable to detect them, has not found the fallen warheads.
- The warheads fell on a facility, causing damage, and Iran is keeping quiet to save face or due to some deal made.

Had they successfully intercepted the missiles, they would have boasted about it. This incident, upon calm consideration, seems to be a warning about the vulnerability of Iran's air defense network.

The number should be zero.

This wasn’t a saturation attack. If you cannot stop 6 projectiles, how will you stop 60?

Just look at what US unleashed on Saddam in 2003 opening salvo. That was in 2003.

Iran once again announced that there was no damage to the radars of Isfahan Air Base.

Yeah I’d imagine they say that. If they say the base took damage they would have to retaliate or let their redline get violated.

Just like Israel said they took no real damage.

Getting warmer, still no smoking gun tho.

They can also buy from China. Russia is not the only game in town. J10CEs would be a significant addition to Irans airforce.
USA would heavily sanction China for selling arms to Iran.
That’s why they don’t.

Is the blackness of the earth the reason for the explosion? Why don't they publish a clear picture?

All sanctions that prohibit weapon sales to Iran are over. There are no sanctions in that regard.
Sanctions are applied inside the US for anyone that trades with Iran, worse, weapon trade, China will be sanctioned immediately even for 1 trainer jet

The international sanctions means nothing, the US controls the vast majority of global economics
