Or the quadcopter damaged the wheels or transmission of the radar vehicle. And the necessary vehicles to tow it away were not in the vicinity.
Now the question becomes if what did the 3 quadcopters in Tabriz hit?
All focus has been on quadcopters in isafhan, but a similar attack occurred in Tabriz.

Wouldn’t be camouflage netting. It would be anti drone netting and heat concealing netting to prevent IR/IO targeting. Camouflage netting is for bringing the systems near frontlines.
In an air defense system, the most important asset is the radar. It’s easier to replace launchers with their TELs than expensive radars.
That’s why for THAAD the most important thing to go after is this:

I didn’t bring up the netting. I’m correcting your assumption that [if] netting [exists] it is used for camouflage.
You don’t use camouflage in a well known military base fixed position. Simple logic.
As for the netting, that’s the “OSINT” assumption. Which I don’t buy. Why was there no netting before and suddenly there is? Makes no sense if you think threat of sabotage is high.
Russian operating procedure when S-300/S-400 is deployed at a military base is no netting. If you don’t believe me, try to find a picture of S-300/S-400 with netting, specifically the radars.
The assumption is if S-300 is at military base that base is protected by other systems and in friendly territory.
But only in Iran would one of the most important air bases in the country be protected by *checks notes* MIM-Hawk, S-200, and some ISIS style AA guns.
So yes I can see why S-300 was able to be targeted, it simply didn’t have any systems protecting it against ultra short range low altitude threats (like a quadcopter).
Again lessons Iran should have learned years ago, but alas.

that is not random base in middle of desert , its Isfahan airbase
does that look camouflaged to you , 1st whoever did it did a shitty job and made detection easier
2nd you don't camouflage something that only Hafez-e-Shirazi is not aware of, you move the radar to a new place and camouflage it there before anybody become aware of it .
3rd , that camouflage is more like bulls eye than camouflage . my guess it was more designed to protect from ground force than from a bird eye

it’s Isafahan international airport. Which merely has military side to it. Not some top secret heavily defended airbase when a random Twitter person can take videos of air defense crews from across the street.
And yes Iran doesn’t keep massive towing capacity vehicles on standby for a quadcopter scenario. There is no incentive to move the radar quickly before an military investigation is complete, Israel/US had real time satellites and knew what happened already, Iran knows this.
So you saying IRGC said “oh my gosh we need to move these systems quickly before some nerd on Twitter orders satellite photos and exposes us”?
Lol you are not hiding a S-300 “static” layout. Not with camo nets and not with Harry Potter cloak of invisibility.
The layout is visible from LEO.
Let me tell you how easy it is for military. Use machine learning model by feeding AI hundreds of pictures of S-300/S-400 layout taken from high altitude (training data) until it recognizes the layout with high probability.
Then you let your existing spy satellites take hundreds and thousands of photos of iranian territory over the course of months and years. Those photos then get sent thru the AI model and detect every “static” location of S-300 (wether there still theirs or not is irrelevant).
This gets added to Pentagon military database on Iranian air defense assets.
Camo nets are to hide TELS and radars when they are near front lines or “shoot and scoot mode” from drones and low flying ISR.
Even then it really only has chance of working in green and forest terrain not desert that is empty for miles.

It’s not a “hole”. It’s a earth terraformed “mound” for the radar according to Russian instructions on how to deploy the system in a traditional static layout when defending a fixed military asset (city/base/object of high value). It has ramps on both side for system to roll up and roll down.
