HAL LCA Tejas: Updates, News & Discussions

That frigates will be eaten up by Indian kolkatta Vizag class destroyers armed with brahimos cruise missiles. Or the new scorpene subs or Poseidon USA maritime planes ..

Best keep them three or four ships close to your coastline so your Airforce can help
Haha and your Kolkata class will eaten by our CM-400AKG

That cheap Chinese missile will be swolled up by the barak 8 Sam

Or the entire ship sunk by our mig29k from our carriers

Even on LCA MK1A they have tested and Intigrated an Eagel eye type of POD based Forward looking Infra Red Sensor and also a POD based GaN AESA based Jammer along with TWO MICA IR on a twin missile rack and then 4X BVRs which can be TWO ASTRA MK II and TWO ASTRA MK I or mix of 2xI DERBY ER and 2x MICA er THATS six aIR tO aiR MISSILES And still less than 1000 Kg so if there is a massive 1300Litre centere line fuel drop tank LCA MK1 A has an impressive Combat radius of 650Kmso so that means a couple of MK1A squads of 16 fighters per squad divided into four can penetrate deep inside pakistan escorting Jaguars or Mirage2000 and keep almost all PAF engaged in 8 sectors i wonder where will PAF bring rssources like those ;) :p

Ah, what was it that hit the MI-17 on Feb 2019 then?
Munna since 2019 IAF changed its entire russian AIR to AIR missiles range on SU30, & Mig29 and converted them into quick reaction Surface to Air Missile Batteries of them and replaced them with MICA TWINS and ASRAAM or ASTRA MKI while Mirage 2000, Jaguars LCA & Rafle all are intigrated with ASRAAM , MICA TWINS I DERBY ER & ASTRA MK I & MK II along with METEOR while all fighters are bieng upgraded with AESA fire control radar either its Israeli EL2052 or UTTAM AESA or its GaN version Virushka besides rewaming all the control and command sytucture while you could only get a few BLK III thunders and 26 J10Cs and a coule of batteries oh HQ9s ... here i am not even talking about what is the level of perpration in terms of surface radar or multi layered air defnce of India .... kaddee aao to shaee ghazwe layee khushboo laa ke ;) :P

The Rafale F4 and Tejas MK1A are both equipped with AESA radars as a standard feature. Among the Pakistan Air Force's fleet, the J10C is the sole aircraft that possesses this advanced radar capability.

wrong Jaguars were the first fighter jets of IAF to get EL2052 AESA Radars while JF17 BLK IIIwere first in PAF to get AESA radar

Jaguars got upgraded with AESA Radar, And JF17 block 3 has air cooled AESA Radar

The biggest is canards. As a control surface it is a great way to fly the aircraft but design wise it isn’t a good choice for any aircraft aiming to reduce its radar signature. That’s why no other contemporary 5th gen aircraft has canards.

Which is also indicative of 6th gen platforms moving away from having horizontal stabilizers as well. Possibly even exploring completely tailless designs, without the need of canted ruddervaters or canted vertical stabilizers with built-in rudders. The latter is most certainly a thing of the past and if they do stay with canted stabilizers, you can bet they'll be small, all-movable ones and not fixed with built-in rudders.
That's so passe as far as stealth design is concerned which surprises me how they still ended up on the F-35. Perhaps the overall shape of the aircraft with its tiny trapezoidal wings created yaw control issues necessitated the need for fixed, canted V-stabs with built-in rudders. That seemed to be the case with the F-22 with its humongous canted V-stabs. Must've had some serious yaw control issues.

I think you meant F3-R?
