I noticed you excluded key items from the timeline before this incident. Brutal attacks on peaceful protestors, tear gassing with expired shells, hospitalisation of many including young girls in a school. Then night raids against protesters at 3am, humiliation of family members and threats of rape of girls and women.

Maybe put yourself in their shoes for a minute and then consider your response in this situation.

Police is out of control and run by thugs and criminals from Punjab.

The thing is, the Pakistani awam is so used to this sort of thing it's normalised for them. As far as they're concerned none of this warrants a reaction beyond a tweet. Whatever happens they just lie down hiding cowardice under the guise of loyalty. Look at the zulm done against PTI supporters and yet not a single shot was fired in self defence.

Acha mashallah. You're the first I've met who has an even mix of family from AJK and Punjab. Usually our brothers who came from the Indian side all settled in Punjab, usually Sialkot and Lahore.

The latter. Elders migrated from IoK at partition, our family settled in Punjab, but the rest stayed in AJK.

This is the same as us. Migrated from IOK, family settled all the way from LoC, Kotli, Mirpur, Jehlum, Kharian, Dinga, Gujrat, Mandi Bahudin. Some even ended up in Lahore and Attock.

I agree with what you have described. If the water supply to a house is cut off, getting a new geyser wouldn't restore the water supply to it. But the question is how to resume the water supply? You first need to analyze and diagnose what and where exactly is the problem and only then you plan how to address it.

Yes Karachi and urban Punjab would be paying for the cheap electricity, subsidies to a region that is already more prosperous than ours as government has surrendered and would inevitably pass down the costs to those paying bills

Bills don't go anywhere with ghairat they just get passed down to those willing to pick up the slack no matter the kanging we do on internet

If bread costs 20 pkr it'll cost 20 pkr no matter how much you protests
Only thing you're doing is getting that bread for 10 pkr while the other guy who was previously paying 20 pkr would now have to pay 25 pkr
That's the only difference

Others ghairat would show up in your bills and if everyone starts showing ghairat than none of us would be able to afford that bread anymore as those making breads would simply leave because they were unable to recoup the Pkr they were promised in return for setting up their mill

Double standards, noone talks about the money stolen by the elite, the money laundering, kickbacks but when it comes to peanuts 80M for AJK then suddenly they talk about where will we get the money from. The Joint Action Committe made it clear the Ajk government should take this money from Ajk politicians who steal our money, buy plots, own expensive cars. The government ignored that demand. Don't forget to add the billions laundered annually.
