A lot of people are misreading the situation. Relations b/w TTP & AT are not as it seems on the surface. You can't convince the AT to not help TTP b/c otherwise TTP will join ISKP. You're going to need to 1) offer something substantially more to AT so they won't have to worry about TTP joining ISKP & 2) convince them that you won't make a uturn as soon as it's convenient & leave them all on their own.

Many ex Afghan National Army personnel joined Taliban right, the mass surrenders was a significant reason why Taliban 2021 offensive was so successful. And possible explanation for why pictures emerged of many Taliban with such commendable trigger discipline unless I am mistaken.

War is their profession, so when the only or at least largest game in town are the Talibs, these unemployed gunmen probably joined their ranks; for the steady paycheck.

This is why the border needs to be adequately fortified (reinforced concrete pillboxes) and reinforced with ISR and good enough artillery. We have to be careful though. A tactic of the Talibs in the war with ISAF was to travel with their families near areas of fighting, knowing the ISAF rules of engagement. Unless it’s a major attack, aren’t these skirmishes just a few dozen men? If so, spending on affordable mini-PGMs to mitigate risk to civilians will prevent the a narrative being formed that civilians are being hurt or killed indiscriminately, and also the battle damage videos can be a deterrent to dissuade other miscreants from trying to attack into Pakistan.

But let me criticize Pakistan. Just a couple of days ago American terrorist the head of CENTCOM visited Pakistan and also he was present on your border areas. That's way too dangerous and it conveys much more dangerous massages. These bastards were the ones that heliborned ISIS into Syria. USA is a destabilizing element.

Talibani minister says that USA transfers ISIS into Afghanistan through Pakistan and the Pakistani side is scapegoating Afghans.

Now I am not going to defend Talibs. They have done much to hurt us in the past.

But the guy had a point.

USA will try to leave Afghanistan and Pakistan lock horn over border issues. And in this chaos they will end their own mission covertly.

Pakistanis obviously don't want ISIS on their border but as it seems USA is on a mission. They might import ISIS under cover without Pakistanis noticing it. Don't trust them, it is a great threat to Pakistan. The attacks on Chinese engineers must be a wake up call to you 99.99% of Pakistanis. That 0.01 % is the same bunch that enables USA to play ISIS card against China and Afghanistan and Iran with JuA. And Pakistan itself in the long run. Your country has to recognize those betraying elements before it's too late.

Iranians do not understand this region and its problems well enough.

You may not know how many groups exist in this region. Some exist even in cities. Not all are bad (militant) but you don't wanna trigger them. ISIS-K is one of the regional militant groups. Naming schemes can be deceptive or irrelevant. People can like a man thousands of miles away and name something after him.

The fundamental problem is in the regional education system. Who is teaching what to others.

Pakistan is not dying to attack Afghanistan 24/7 like India is dying to attack Pakistan 24/7.

Many Pakistani decision makers and people see Afghanistan (same as Iran) as a natural ally owing to ethnic, religious, historical and geographical ties with Afghanistan. They would rather first try to make friends with it.

On the other hand, Afghanistan is like a closed gutter full of cockroaches in your neighbours house. You can spray the cockroaches over the boundary wall, or when they enter your house. However, is it worth the nusaince to lift the gutter lid and methodically exterminate every last roach inside, while all of them swarm you? It won't kill you, it will just be a huge annoyance.

Afghans are attacking daily on Pakistan not Indians. Anyway keep living in make belief world better for Indians. One thing write down that your neighbor will never be your friend be it Iran, Afghan or India. In neighboring country relationship one of them has to always be on lower rung and Taliban wont be accept it just like Pakistan wont.

Yesterday TTP posted their photos and videos with Afghan Taliban fighting with Pak forces. Afghan Taliban told their people that they are at war with Pakistan and they are helping TTP to enter their militants in Pakistan as many as possible while Pak forces are responding with infantry weapons and mortars. Pakistan Air Force can wipe them out in the matter of hours so what are waiting for? Pakistan will keep losing it's troops unless they start getting air support.
