Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

I answered one question that Iran provides the most help but that is clearly not enough to win the war. Yesterday there was a twitter post that help is reaching the Gazans through Egypt.
That "help" is Iranian weapons in the few tunnels the Egyptians don't flood. We knew those tunnels existed, it's not news.

One the very first attempt to shoot down an apache

they published a few attempts in the start of the war, but with cruder 'home made' SAM systems. Strela is the most advanced SAM they have shown so far, wonder why it didn't succeed, I guess out of range but it should be able to hit helicopters in the right environment

Ansarallah strike M/T Wind in Red Sea

At approximately 1 a.m. (Sanaa time) May 18, Ansarallah launched one anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) into the Red Sea and struck M/T Wind, a Panamanian-flagged, Greek owned and operated oil tanker.

M/T Wind most recently docked in Russia and was bound for China. The impact of the ASBM caused flooding which resulted in the of loss propulsion and steering. A coalition vessel immediately responded to the distress call by M/T Wind, but no assistance was needed. The crew of M/T Wind was able to restore propulsion and steering, and no casualties were reported.

What i wonder is how the hell they knew a projectile was coming at the car and easily jumping out of the car before it hits

Car is equipped with a warning radar?

What Hamas has done can be termed as Charge of the Light Brigade on a large scale. Iran, while helping the Palestinians is not providing enough to turn the tables on Israel.
Some Egyptian heroes should help in this matter. Iran is not a neighbor of Gaza and we need the cooperation of the Egyptians.

Heavy weapons cannot be imported into Gaza, but anti-tank missiles such as Almas and 358 defense missiles and small suicide drones can be sent to Gaza.

Because of its sound
Well on the last Hezbollah video where they strike at the man crotch, he didn't even moved his head or look at the ATGM coming into his crotch, even at the last moment they were seeing nothing

In spite of their endurance, Palestinians are slowly losing the war.
based on what? Why is there so much chatter within Israel that it wont win this war if Palestinians are actually losing like you suggest?
Iran is doing the most but that is not enough. As someone said "It is not enough to fight, one has to win the war!"
You want Gaza to win the war and so does Iran, but do you know the difference between you and Iran in this situation? expectations of time frame for a Gaza victory- you seem to have expected Gaza to have won already, and Iran most likely knows it will take some more time for Israel to actually get exhausted , lose or give up in this war. Gaza militants planned for a long war with Israel and their statements and actions are in coordinated unison on that plan.

you didn't answer either question. the Palestinian struggle existed long before Iran was involved.

if every Arab country was doing half as much as Iran, Palestine would be free by now.
Good points.

honestly, i'm pretty sure this R2D2 guy doesnt actually know what it takes to defeat Israel on the battlefield- how would he know when its the same few Muslim parties that have been fighting Israel for decades? ISrael AND all the support it can rely on from US and some EU countries gives it a considerable amount of stamina despite its strategic depth. Is it that Hezbollah has hit Israel weakly in this war or Israel is tough enough to take a beating for a while before giving up?

this is likely imagery from a drone not from commercial satellite companies

Lol you are on crack (shisheh) if you think HZ has a drone with that level of FLIR tech. That would require U2 level instruments.

Sayyad-2 is based on a 1960s missile and has never intercepted a ballistic missile or fighter jet (let alone very advanced Israeli jets). it's possible but very unlikely

“based on 1960’s missile” is very misleading. I could also say Abrams is based on Payton’s tank from WW2 and it would technically be true.

It’s a highly upgraded SM-2 which is used in US Navy to this day. It’s simaritlies end with the 1960 version as the entire inner components (engine, seeker, analog to digital, etc) has been changed.

And I wouldn’t call Israeli F-16/F-15 “highly advanced”. Most Israeli F-16’s are 20-30 years old. They lack many of the design improvements found in later blocks that reduced the RCS. It’s the targeting pods and electronic pods that help Israel stick out among other operators, but all those add to RCS as well.

A Sayyad-2 is more than capable to bring down F-16, it all depends on what it is using for search & track as well as targeting radar and what the seeker type is.

For all we now that Sayyad-2 was 10+ years old.

Missile makes sound as it comes down. Everyone is trained on drone sounds. Taliban used to pass out instructions on when not to operate or when to realize a predator drone is in the air.

One thing I remember was it said to not move about on clear days. These drones typically hang out in 15,000-30,000 ft area so they need mostly clear weather to do assassination strikes.

We can also say that Sayyad-4 is based on 1960 missile

And contrary as what @HackHook says, F-16i dates from at least 30 years old, as same as the F-15s, and are not "freshly coming from the manufacture", and overloaded with electronic, jamming pods

Sayyad 2 is enough to have a chance to hit them

I really think at least one of them will be targeted, or at very least an apache helicopter

you are on crack if you think Hezbollah can purchase 0.1m resolution satellite imagery of a military site inside Israel from multiple angles
