Well they buy eurofighters because ...... that's what they are allowed to do. They were denied with SU35 and not have permission to buy J10 or anything which can cause even small problem to Israel. That's why they first needs lots of courage to get anything meaningful.

That's good.

It means Turkey is no longer a vassal state of USA.

Turkey will also need to abandon democracy.

Because democracy is also a tool to control Turkey too.

You can try to break from USA, in military term.

But you are still a vassal state, because you are still a democracy.

Turkey effort to be independently in military will be stopped by a color revolution, to dispose the disobedience president.
