Some countries put money into wars and some into public facilities, China still is running a high budget surplus. We never expect bullet trains and subways can support themselves just be selling tickets, we focus more on the massive economic benefits they bring to the whole economy, which are hundreds of times more than the money put in building and operating them, you guys can never see anywhere beyond your nose tip, that is why you are always slow.

lol, Ok ,good luck with thei dilapidated infras, hopefully they can use them to make money for another 100 years.Because in 100 years, it will still be making money...just like their highways.
You guys can never look beyond your nose tipNonsense. The primary budget deployment of china has been to showcase. Viability is far exceeded...if 4000 miles is the most viable deployment, 40,000 miles is deployed to make it look good.
You can talk about HSR, but US was one of the first countries in the world that built highways connecting every part of the country becuase it was economically viable for them. 100 years + later- they are still highly viable. Good choices, well executed and perpetual economic value.
Keep your propoganda points on investing in wars etc, to yourself.
HSR can increase the GDP of a city by 14.200%, and for each additional HSR line, the urban GDP will increase by 7.200%. The opening and operation of HSR makes the intercity travel more convenient for citizens, hence increasing economic activities between cities and promoting

I didn't, it's you are suggesting it.You suggesting that US highways are not viable today? Man even for propoganda that's a lame statement.
China's HSR has been the driving force for China's meteoric economic growth in the past 20 years, it's good enough.A viable HSR can increase the GDP by 15%. 20% of your HSR lines will definitely enhance the GDP of the catchment areas. 80% will drag it down- people won't use it since they don't need it.
In every country other than Japan HSR construction has been very limited lines connecting only large catchment cities. Rest is with small airports, highways, regular trains if needed.

That is what they say about themselves, go google or use youtube to find it.That's exactly what you said

How come it didn't happen and China still enjoys massive surplus budget? based on your Indian media, China has been crashing everyday for decades, haConstruction activities of HSR has added massively to GDP growth. Post constructtion most lines have become loss making and drain on public finances.
