Well I'm glad this time is not like the ridicolous first round turn out
And to think some people were defending that.
I myself gave my vote at morning and now I'm on the road but heard still there is long line in some voting centers . The law state that interior minister can extend voting till mid night which is now . Wonder if guardian council or interior ministry can extend itt more in some areas
Who defended 40% of vote?

votes so far after counting 80% of the votes:

Pezeshkian = 13.6 million (54.4%)
Jalili = 11.4 million (45.6%)

Pezeshkian is likely going to win with a 9-10% margin

14.21 million Pezeshkian (54%)
12.1 million Jalili (46%)

around 5 million votes left to count

MASOUD PEZESHKIAN WINS ELECTION, BECOMES PRESIDENT OF IRAN

Big loss unfortunately, we'll see how this goes and i hope he gets no tools to change anything of the country besides small decisions

After 94% of votes counted:

15.9 million votes for Pezeshkian (54.6%)
13.2 million votes for Jalili (45.4%)

Pezeshkian win is confirmed. Jalili cannot catch him with the remaining c. 2 million votes.

Once again people turned back.....

I hope the second Bani Sadr cannot last for more than one year!

this rhetoric is childish

time to unite around Pezeshkian for the sake of Iran

This blind faith is also childish. We won't unite over a potential sell out, especially blindly. We will wait to see what he does before we commit anything. You do you, though.

This is the only choice for anyone that voted for Jalili

Only time will tell us if man cares about Iran and its geopolitic stance or a complete sellout licking western boots making terrible inflation rate thinking the west will solve all problems of Iran. Actions and not words

The good news is that more than 50% voted, this is enough to keep propaganda of "no one is voting" at bay

he just won election and some of you guys already decided he is a sell out ... crazy

After c. 96% of votes counted:

16.2 million Pezeshkian (55%)
13.4 million Jalili (45%)
