Wrong, Afghanistan was worthless, it wasnt worth fighting for or over so once Russia was degraded it left
Ukraine is on Russia's door step, not far from Moscow itself, it allows is enemy access to the black sea
This conflict is not over some far away state, it's over the very future of Russia itself as a power and come what may the Russians are unable to tolerate anything but a significant victory on its terms
As a result, Russia will spend it's capital, its equipment and it's forces to ensure victory, same with the Ukrainians and the west
The saving grace being this clash of powers is happening in a European country so white people are dying, this keeps things under control
Afghanistan was also on soviet union doorstep and it was also over the very future of soviet union. This is why they invested a lot in that war.
This is basically a war of attrition and it is impossible for Russia to win when they have an economy on par with Italy and are against the combined industrial and economy might of NATO?
Russia have two options asked for peace or use nukes so everyone losses

When was Hamas formed (came into being)?
When did Israeli genocide started?
And lastly Hamas is just a resistance movement against foreign occupation. Why should we call them terrorists???
