Indians need to calm down.

BD will not become a hostile state but will be less inclined to favor them as there will be no more "1971" sentiment card to be played with new government.

It is a country of 170 million people and if India knows what is good for it, it will treat it as a sovereign and equal state to it.

There is no need for BD and India to be hostile to each other but there will be more Chinese involvement in BD, especially on the infrastructure front.

India needs to get used to this new paradigm.

What India wants Bangladesh to be is a puppet slave state with the illusion of independence. India wants a subservient leader in Bangladesh who will gladly surrender Bangladeshi interest to India, under the guise of being an independent state.
