Yes a PLAN NA and as such J-35 patch … irrelevant to the J-31 as such,

Nice reply.Although China has not announced the number of FC31 prototypes, it is certain that there is definitely more than one. - This does not comply with China's test flight rules. As for how many FC31 prototypes there are now, we will only have to wait for the official declassification announcement in a few years.
As I said before, my friend is a researcher in the WS19 project team of the 624 Institute. According to his information, the first batch of aircraft of the FC31 was the Air Force version (J31), and not the Navy carrier-based aircraft version (J35). - Whether it is accurate or not, please judge for yourself!
We can only speculate that the first batch of J35 will definitely be for the PLA Navy, and we do not know whether the first batch of J31 will be for PLAAF or PAF. According to the analysis of Chinese military experts, PLAAF has not been interested in the FC31 (J31), they prefer the J20.
So, is it possible that the first batch of J31 was supplied directly to the PAF?
Let's look forward to the results!
Yes a PLAN NA and as such J-35 patch … irrelevant to the J-31 as such,

Agreed. Likely not a priority for the PAF at the moment. IMO, that's the type of capability (alongside AEW&C-guided SAMs) you experiment with once you have the necessary inputs, but it isn't something you go out of your way to pursue for its own sake.I don’t think the Erieye will ever be able to support 3rd party guidance.
PGMs and shorter ranged AGms need a quasi sanitized airspace or smaller more numerous UCaVs to absorb losses and avoid detection.Agreed. Likely not a priority for the PAF at the moment. IMO, that's the type of capability (alongside AEW&C-guided SAMs) you experiment with once you have the necessary inputs, but it isn't something you go out of your way to pursue for its own sake.
I think it'd be more worth watching the PAF to see if it pairs AAMs to UCAVs for a loyal wingman capability. Something tells me that the PAF might prefer prioritizing PGB and AGM integration to UCAVs well ahead of AAMs, hence the aggressive pursuit of the J-31 (to take on the air-to-air duties in any offensive ops).
In China's aircraft research and development, the China Flight Test Institute has the right to decide. They set the rules for test flights of all aircraft. All military aircraft must pass their tests before they can be finalized. Are you sure and based on what evidence?
Even more it seems, you are again confusing J-31 with FC-31 prototypes and based on the same logic - aka we assume there to be more than we see- it is also likely that there are already 5 H-20s flying?
Don‘t get me wrong, but we have a quite good and reliable track record on when a new prototype appeared and as such how many are now available and for the true J-31 only one is known.
To assume there are more and as such to base any further assumption, out could enter service in PAF soon, is just wishful thinking based on nothing. As such I prefer to base my projections on the number of confirmed aircraft and prototypes similar to the J-20 program then,
The current known news is that WS19 is being produced in small batches at the Guiyang plant.Nice reply.
Can we get the information about the status of WS-19 engine?
Is it completed all tests and what about production?
Lol there is only one prototype flying and years away from mass production how we can get j31 in small numbers in 2025? Lol think logically before you postWell, there are lot of rumours and claims about J-31 induction date in PAF.
However, after officially announcement by PAF Chief, I assume it would not be long years to to induct it. We perhaps see it in next year, 2025 in small numbers, probably, on 23rd March 2025
You are right. The current known news is that WS19 is being produced in small batches at the Guiyang plant.
As for the details of WS19, I don't know.
Even if I knew, I couldn't say.My friends will not disclose any confidential information to me. I and he don't want to go to jail!..........
In China's aircraft research and development, the China Flight Test Institute has the right to decide. They set the rules for test flights of all aircraft. All military aircraft must pass their tests before they can be finalized.
At the moment, the test flight rules are not fully public. However, we can find out from the already published J10/Y20/J20 test flight interviews/recall videos that none of the aircraft passed the test using only one prototype. - CCTV-7 has made these videos public. You can easily find these videos on the Internet, but they should all be in Chinese.
The PLA has strict rules of secrecy regarding the quantity and performance of all equipment, and usually does not release these data lightly, especially for an advanced fighter that has not yet entered service.
If you judge that there is only one prototype of this aircraft just by the pictures that appear on the Internet, then it will be a huge misunderstanding.
If you are an advanced user of Google earth, you can try, the same/similar time, satellite photos of multiple aircraft test sites in China, maybe you can have some different opinions. I can't guarantee that you'll be able to find evidence, but it's sure to be a big takeaway.
=============================
FC31、J31、J35。 I explained the relationship between them on another post.
Regarding the model code of this fighter, there was a statement in the Chinese media recently, but it was not confirmed by official PLA sources.
After SAC initially failed to develop the fighter and failed to bid for the PLAAF fifth-generation fighter with CAC, it planned to export the fighter under the code "FC31".
After that, after many times of communication and negotiation, an agreement was finally reached with PLA. SAC is improved and upgraded on the basis of FC31 and listed in PLA sequences:
J31: Air Force model, equipped with PLAAF and exported
J35: Navy carrier-based model...
Lol there is only one prototype flying and years away from mass production how we can get j31 in small numbers in 2025? Lol think logically before you post
J-31 will be very close to F-35 if not better. China won't be inducted a Naval version of it if that wasn't the case. Secondly, there is no full clarity on how many prototypes of J-31 exist.
