I think they were more responding to her than the other way round.
Her problems started as she had a vendetta to get everyone that was involved in any way with her father's death.
Her father was a great leader for independence but was a poor administrator and had dictatorial tendencies.
That is not a way to build a nation and get unity.
The key.
With all goodwill for Bangladesh as a country, with full empathy for the trauma that the Bangladeshi has been subjected to by the traumatised daughter who lost her parents and all but one other sibling at the hands of assassins, this is a fact that the Bangladeshi man and woman in the street must recognise.
Whether understood or not is another step; whether sympathised with, or not, is yet another step.
This is the basic recognition.
When an eminent Bangladeshi member includes in his joyful post the cry, "Nara e takbeer, Allahu Akbar", he cannot expect to have any Bangladeshi Hindu to be with him. Not against him, perhaps, but certainly not with him.
That is why the BNP, with its indelible bond with the Jamaat, whichever partner be senior and which junior set apart, is unlikely to have much support from Bangladeshi Hindus. Hardly to be set at the doors of Hindus, and hardly a reason to intimidate them.
Well, it was one of the most talked about incidents in 2020. Thing gotten so bad that government in the end Transferred the police forces of an entire district=COXBAZAR. The Officer in charge of a police station who happened to be hindu ordered a killing of a highly decorated ex army major (ex SSF, who happened to be muslim) to hide his illegal involvement with local drug business. The killing was extraordinarily brutal.
After being shot twice, major Mohammad Sinha was still alive, he was asking for water, than OC Pradeep stomped on his neck to kill him.
The OC and another police officer (muslim) who took the shot both were sentenced to death later.
By some, it was seen as, under BAL government backed by India (that idiot said something like, 'back door of Indian high commission is always open for me. No one could do sh*t) some bad Hindus could kill our most decorated army officers like dogs in the streets and get away with it.
By most, it was usual BAL/police thuggery that has gone too far. And testimony to how we are increasingly living under an evil regime.
Initially, he also said the Sheikh family was done with Bangladeshi politics. I think he is backtracking due to internal pressure from the family and party.
If she had contacted the President's office to resign, the army and Yunus should get the president to come out quickly and confirm.![]()
Hasina did not resign: Joy
Says Awami League is willing to work with BNP to restore democracy in Bangladeshwww.thedailystar.net
Looks like that Autist mf lost it or this sh*t isn't over yet.
So do we assign it to irrational thinking?

BNP and Jamat are not minority unfriendly. It's the truth. It was know for long by BDeshis, this is more and more recognized among the minorities nowadays.
Very true. BAL has been positioning themselves as minority friendly and Indian media and government rubber stamps it. In reality, BAL only benefits those minorities who are actively involved in BAL politics.
There are plenty of cases from last 15 years where BAL leaders oppressed and forcefully acquired lands from poor Hindu families at gun-point. Plenty of Bangladeshi Hindus have taken the streets to protest against Hasina. In fact, probably the most influential critic of Hasina regime is Pinaki Bhattacharya, who has millions of listeners and probably played a key role in influencing people. He has been in exile for over a decade and he himself admitted numerous times that had it not been two shibir (Jamaat student wing) members, he would have been dead or rotting in one of Hasina's secret prisons.
Yunus should take the opportunity to destroy both BAL and BNP permanently. There is plenty of evidence to criminally charge leaders from both parties. Wipe out BAL to decimate Indian influence while obliterate BNP to ensure we do not replace goons with goons in charge of government.I think it is much more sinister than just pressure from family and party. I think they finally received re-assurance from Modi govt that India will continue to support BAL. Immediately after his statement, we saw multiple events happening yesterday to destabilize Bangladesh almost simultaneously.
And India also now changed position and stated Hasina can stay longer in India. BJP just formed a committee to protect minorities in Bangladesh. I am certain they are hatching a nasty plan to destablize Bangladesh.
