India Travel Thread

beaut

but don't they already have a 790 or something ?

I was talking about your full throttle color.

Yes. This is (might be) the lower cost/detuned made for India and rest of the world 650 twin enduro that guru was referring to yesterday.

Cheers, Doc

Also, a thread renaming might be in order.

India travel and adventure thread

^bike, car, travel gear, cameras.. sab travel related idhar daalo.

This will go up head to head against the NX500. Not 9 peti. More like 6ish.
790 is about 9 after registration etc

check karo

your friend got in on the limited run here, right ?

I am talking about the yet to be launched 650 here.

The thread title is sweet and fine.

6 will still be on the pricier side for many for that displacement

but then Ninjas are also quite popular.. different segment

bike bikegi, but not a lot compared to other "enthusiast grade" (for India) like the RE twins ka roster.

or are we talking about a limited run again ?

Bro, first of all, why are you comparing KTM to RE? Majaak hai?

Secondly, the 390s are already at 4+ on road. 390 cc 45 bhp. Single.

For crying out loud, the new RE Himalayan is nearly 3 lacs ex showroom (2.8+ types). Will be 3.5ish on road?

This KTM will be a proper middleweight.

650 cc. 65 to 70 bhp. Twin.

Still think 6 lacs is too much?

Bhai thoda market mein ja ke pata karo middleweight and above ke prices.

Get out of your RE kuan. Every red blooded Indian male must own a Royal Enfield once in his life.

But that once is usually enough. Unless you veer towards S&M.

Cheers, Doc

pandi (pork) curry, coorg style

@Paitoo @vsdoc @Joe Shearer @Guru... nvm

The Andhra Bhawan canteen in Delhi, Hyderabad House, serves an absolutely legendary mutton sookha/fry.. these insanely caramelized, and maybe even a bit charred (it works) bits, best had with a fresh poori.

Blow your mind good..

Some years ago there was a big hullabaloo around Kerala bhavan in delhi where it had been discovered that they were serving errachi fry along with those flaky porottas. lol

have you been there @Joe Shearer ?

Hyderabad place still has a looong que on sundays for their biriyanis.
