Wargame - Bad Blood

I've voluntold @meghdut @suryakiran @hellfire200604 , whichever order they show up in and express interest to do so.

Otherwise it will be combined effort with the main 3 of us pitching in so far on Indian side....especially since figuring out the army stuff is really the largest issue to resolve (the rest will be a cinch in comparison).

It might just have to evolve like this overall (everyone contributing a bit to everything where possible and hopefully the interest increases for deeper participation etc.... with first results appearing and feedback here etc)
I would like @meghdut to stay with me on airpower, if you choose to give me chief of staff western command. I would like him to be chief of Command air staff, and dispose of all aerial units at operations level and strategic level. If this is acceptable, he will allocate aircraft, UAV squadrons and flights, ballistic, guided missile, and cruise missile batteries and MBRL (? MLRS) batteries and regiments to defence groups, combat groups, battle groups and assault groups.
These will go under command of the ops commanders, for the formations named above.
Resources reserved at command level (=strategic resources, not amounting to control of nuclear devices) are to be directly under the command of the chief of Command air staff, theoretically differentiated (more than one criterion available for adoption) but practically, for the war game, directed by one person.
We need another strong person for naval operations, as chief of Command naval staff.

Btw, am almost through with Henderson Brooks Report, apart from other Indian published material!

It is said that there is a reason why the report cannot be released by any Indian government.
Because several critical flaws in Indian Government and military command and staff system, are still present and haven't been resolved, hence the opportunities still remain. Same goes for Kargil Review Committee as well.

There was (only in the east) an issue relating to the alignment of the MacMahon Line, and the general principle that it should run along the watershed.

It would not be politic to go beyond this cryptic remark.

LOLOL.

Patience, dear Sir.
You are dealing with us amateurs who don't know what a Sam Browne is.

There are lots of questions for you, and they are not being asked as there is intense discussion going on internally on structural matters, as well as strategy. Give us till this weekend to come up with our questionnaire (mainly to do with logistics - how many kms can be achieved by a composite unit travelling without opposition, with opposition, consumption of shells per day, consumption of fuel per day for different vehicles - but that in fairness we need to find on our own - things like that).

Our questionnaire will also have to do with permissibility: can we do X, Y or Z?

Day after tomorrow, latest 😁😁😁

I just hope that the Pak side is doing the same at the moment. Otherwise, professional bankruptcy will take its toll.

Tell me about it - the Pakistani team is mostly unresponsive to the next step other than the new entrants
I am waiting for a mod to make/add me to the group conversation.

I'll also need a bit of guidance on logistics etc. because I don't have 40 years of experience for commanding an antire air force...
