Hezbollah does not have the capacity to engage in open war with Israel. If they try the conventional way, they will lose catastrophically. Their best way to avoid defeat is to avoid open conventional combat and pursue a strategy of resistance, inflicting losses and wearing down the Israeli army.
I agree that this incident is a matter of concern and indicates a terrifying attack vector. There should be debate about rules of war or how to end war before it gets more ugly. Mossad manipulated a particular batch of pagers that it was sure that Hezbollah will use. However, the nature of attack is such that it will not distinguish between innocent and fighters. I am cool with how you perceive this attack but I don't think Russian barrel bombing tactics distinguish between civilian and fighters either. To me, both kill indiscriminately in pursuit of goals. Gone are the days when battles were fought in open grounds away from population centers. Now everything goes. Iss humam main sab nangay hain.

I have humanitarian personality. If I ever had the means or resources, I would have offered Palestinian non-combatants including women and children shelter and the option to live a normal life with permission of relevant authorities (legal channels). I read stories of war and I fully understand how terrifying it is. So this is my personal view and some can disagree with it but humanity is in my soul. The state is in the best position to help though. Better than private channels. God bless or reduce pain of innocent and underpriviledged.
I think you're coward but idk yet if Hezbollah is. There's no trap or trying to draw into war. They're doing a war on Lebanon since few days ago and every day there are hundreds of strikes.
That wont work as no countries especially western will provide any decent arms to protect Israel. Also Lebanon is in an economic crisis and probably have little ability to pay add to the fact there is still some division internally, not everyone backs Hezbollah. This is likely a factor helping israel with intelligence.
