What I don't understand is why doesn't Iran launch a few missiles with incendiary warheads like thermite etc will cause huge fires that will be difficult to put out like saladin did on the eve of horns of hattin burned the dry grass down.

Iron Dome is not designed to take out ballistic missiles at first place. Google a bit on it.

Iron Dome only protects against home made palestinians rockets.

There's David sling & Arrow ABM systems to counter Ballistic missiles but they have extremely low percent chance to intercept a BM and zero percent chance to intercept hypersonic missiles. These iranian missiles were well above important sites & Tel aviv, it would have been foolish to not try & intercept those. But the problem is Israelis have no solution to intercept high supersonic or Hypersonic missiles.

two other points:

1) among large numbers of impacts we saw one or two interceptions of missiles heading to the same area. why would they intercepted them if they were all headed to land in empty area?

2) the fact that the missile impacts came in groups to the same target suggest the missiles reached their intended target. that is much more likely than all the missiles missed their target and all instead hit the same wrong target (that should be random).

On their own, they will try covert attacks and maybe a few air strikes from Iraqi airspace. If UK and US do not participate.

Well Unlike civilian homes or offices, which are only occupied part of the day.

Military bases are manned 24/7.

So if a Military base were to get hit without any warning, there certainly would be multiple casualities.

But that's not the case here.
