Even if one were to discount the Muslim countries as weak, they do have their backers in China and Russia in considerable extent. It is in the interests of China and Russia to keep the Americans bogged down in the Middle East.

However dispassionately I want Peace in the Middle East, I don't see it is going to happen. I wish I was wrong: We all want Peace to prevail and lives to go on but not happening. Killing of Sinwar will only make the existing and the newly joined fighters to fight with more vigor because his death took place like a fighter's death! A leader died in the trenches. Good that most Americans on PDF have wisely stayed away from this conflict's thread and even most Indians have stayed away. But some of them still come here for whatever warmongering reasons. Indians are not in this conflict and should stay away and American interests are being damaged by the Israeli Lobby but some here would still come and celebrate the subjugation, death, and displacements of the Palestinians/Arabs/Persians.
