Recently, a private enterprise in Zhuhai showcased a swarm of AI drones that can attack, with one computer that controls 30 small drone swarm. The drone can fly 45 minutes and lock onto targets through AI vision. The company has demonstrated this intelligent locking and impact capabilities days before.

In 2021, China proposed a ban on killer robots. The Sixth Review Conference of the United Nations Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons was held in Geneva to discuss the regulation of "lethal autonomous weapon systems", commonly known as "killer robots". Unfortunately, the meeting ultimately failed to reach a relevant agreement. The majority of representatives from 125 member states expressed their desire to restrict "killer robots". But it has been opposed by countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, Israel, and India that are developing this weapon.

Then China has developed AI robots, such as robotic dogs, drones, and so on. Not long ago, US lawmakers were furious and said that China's use of robotic dogs is unethical.
 
The domestically produced new BJ07 dual wing folding tilt rotor UAV developed by China Arctic Gull Aviation Group will be unveiled at the 15th Zhuhai Air Show in November 2024.
This drone is far ahead in terms of payload capacity, reaching 50 kilograms, ranking first in the world.

Otherwise, PteroDy. can sue the Chinese company.

I am not fanatic about so-called intellectual property right. Even if the Chinese company stole the idea, it is perfectly fine for military usage where patents are not observed. You have to admire some of the Chinese companies in the way they quickly recognize a good design and copy it. But we should recognize if the original idea isn't ours and should not pass it on as if it were.

By the way, I knew this design before because I was interested in using the drones as dive bombers. It seems to suit for that purpose quite well.
 
Intellectual property is essentially about encouraging creativity and invention, and I support it.

Generally, private companies do not unconditionally and automatically recognize an "idea" from other companies. This is within the jurisdiction of patent law.

For this case, Chinese companies should vigorously promote their products, and if the two companies have no business relationship, American companies are welcome to file intellectual property lawsuits.

I believe such competition is healthy competition.
