Allegedly the twin-seater was seen again …


The question therefore is, how recent this imagery is? My point is, both 2031 & 2032 are already grey, 2033 is known from an unconfirmed image … so either a new image of 2033 or even a new prototype

Any image of two WS-15 engine prototype?
 
Recently, some declassified news has been circulating in Chinese social media.

After CAC won the PLAAF 5th Generation Fighter Bid, there was a shortage of manpower due to very limited mission time.SAC provided assistance.The main frame beam of J20 was designed and manufactured by SAC.

Interesting that this pops up now again since I think it was already claimed at the very beginning and then forgotten again.

Twin seater is probably used for EW.

Supposedly this was one of the designs which lost to Chengdu J-20.

IMO not too different from J-20.
Canards, a bit elevated above wings. Tail design more «traditional» though.
